Honestly it’s an amazing place. We enjoyed our stays everytime we book that place. BUT beware if you have any issue with them. The administration will simply ignore your request, comments and emails, even when you try contacting them many times calls, emails. They simply avoid any issue. They doesn’t have time to call you back or simply reply to an email. I just called the reception, the employee was really polite, told the supervisor is here but doesn’t have time for me. At the end, the supervisor even told his employee to end this call. Very classy.
It’s a great place to go as a family. Lots of room. Unfortunately there are disappointments. The cleaning could be better, so expect to do a bit of cleaning when you get here. Bring ice cube trays. There wasn’t any and the charge for a bag of ice here is high. Wood is also expensive. Simple things like oven mitts were not here. And don’t expect to use the pull out couch. It’s time to replace these for sure. With that said we had a fun time as a family.
At first I was a little hesitant about reserving a chalet at this resort based on some reviews but I'm so happy I ended up doing it. The chalet was beautiful and clean. The Christmas decorations were a great touch and the service was truly amazing.
As great as expected. However cabin needs a refresh. Dishwasher broken, pool table carpet very used, other details I don't write remember right now. Also, the trail for to the lakeside is perilous, be warned. Neighboring cabins visible from hot tub, not ideal.Rooms: 3/5
Awesome resort only 1.5 hrs from Montreal. Only downside was that we couldn't bring our dogs. Not really a resort problem though. Price of the cabin included lots of activities like tennis, SUP, kayaks, canoes, etc.Rooms: 5/5
One of the best places I’ve stayed at in my entire life good service, incredible views and so many different activities including swimming, tennis, paddle boating, kayaking, paddle boarding and etc. The chalets are huge depending on which ones you get and they also include not so bad service Wi-Fi and a TV with CDs if you want something to watch. I would 100% recommend this to anyone
We spent Spring Break there as a family. The chalet was above our expectations in terms of quietness and seclusion, and the reception was friendly and helpful. Everything needed was in the kitchen - do expect to bring all your spices and oil, as it is managed as a hotel - but the quality of the kitchen appliances was great. Pool and showshoes available when we wanted to, and the spa was perfectly hot. We had icing rain during our stay and they managed the roads and de-snowed dutifully. No issues with return of our safety deposit. We will be back, it was a great experience! It will be in the top choice when we plan time away in the Laurentians!
Stayed for 2 nights 3 days everything was pristine. Really enjoyed my stay will be going back. Was there in the fall beautiful foliage changing colours, only thing the ingrounded pool had been closed already so didn't get to use but the sauna and spa was still available.
This is our second visit to Fiddler's Lake Resort. Great location, only an hour away from Montreal. The chalet was impeccable. Clean and fully equipped. It was just what we needed for our much needed city break. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you! We're definitely going back.
This is an amazing resort! Our chalet was fully equipped and in impeccable shape. We were staying at a Bear model. Loved the privacy, own hot tub and sauna, but equally enjoyed the activities and pool at the centre. We had our own dock which was in a dangerously poor shape, with a broken ladder and nails sticking out. Most other docks seemed to be in a much better state. Staff is very friendly. Our only complaint and sole reason I didn't give five stars is that lake accessibility is an issue. Some cottages come with their private dock and there is also a central dock. The path to all is very rudimentary and very steep!b The lake is great and pretty but very deep. As an fyi: bath towels, dishsoap, Kleenex, garbage bags paper towels and bar soap are provided.. Closest grocery store is a 12 minute drive, however Reception sells some basic supplies.
