Fairview Motel

My experience was terrible especially the man Nick that was the one that took my money wasn't honest with us. Being from out of town I called ahead to book a room at the clairview motel and they own the fairview Inn...gave my cc info and said we would be in later. Well not knowing that there is also a fairview motel...I ended up there but didn't realize it. After being out till 3am we were returning...we got lost in Simcoe...since the man at motel didn't give me a receipt for my room that I paid cash for...I remembered to look at my GPS to go to motel....it brought us to clairview and fairview Inn....it was confused but realized my big mistake!! Omg I have no idea how to get to the motel my stuff is at!! Panicked and realized it must be further up west on hyw 3....I told my husband it was the wrong one...and it was such a dump...garbage in pails..grocery bags for garbage...webs and bugs all over the bathrooms. If I had not given the man cash we would of left that night... This man is dishonest and should of told me when I asked where the clairview was?? I asked him if he had my visa info and he said yes...told me to pay cash and I wouldn't have to pay for taxes...his place is much cheaper then 85 a night but because I told him the lady I was talking to quoted me 85 plus tax he used that to his advantage... Fairview motel is not fairview Inn which is close to clairview...being my first time staying in a motel in Simcoe I was sucked into his scam... I'm posting so no one else does this....this man is a dirty man just like his motel...shame on you Nick for pretending to be someone else!!! I feel imbarrassed and mad!! Very unprofessional rooms...bedding from 1965 and beds too were antiques..towels were from $ store...ran out of toilet paper and no replacement...slept on top of bed with blanket from car. I have bites all over me which I'm hoping wasn't bed bugs... This man ruined my stay in Simcoe!! When I talked to fairview Inn owner she was very appaulagetic and said he does this to many people!! Please if your coming from West hyw 3 to come to simcoe and staying at fairview Inn don't make the same mistake I did and stop at fairview motel! ....sincerely Dawn Holyoke-Gordon

Very nice clean rooms..... definitely worth the very affordable price :)
