Welcome to the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge Facebook Fan page. Our page is intended to highlight exciting news, activities and seasonal promotions as well as provide an online community where our fans can post about their upcoming visits, share their feedback, experiences and memories.

Community is important to us and we want our fans to feel comfortable sharing, connecting and asking questions on our Facebook page. Good food. Great service.nRooms were nice and amenities were good as well.. but for the price, I did expect more facilities in the room. Lack of a microwave, larger screen on the TV and some other minor details.nnFairmont Jasper has a lot of hype around it and so naturally, it's nothing beyond expectations : but Jasper is nice and you see a lot of wildlife in and around the compound, which is great.
Cheeky: First of all, the resort is in a very nice place, the lake and the small island are really beautiful. But the rest is just a cheek! We paid a lot of money to stay in an extremely run-down house. The air conditioning and two sockets didn't work and we had to call reception 3 times for someone to come and have a look. We are 4 people and got 2 small beds with the statement that the sofa is also comfortable. Very poor facilities.
Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge is undoubtedly one of the best places to stay in Jasper, offering a stunning location by a beautiful lake. The hotel itself is a gem with its charming ambiance and numerous amenities. The staff were exceptional, providing attentive service throughout our stay. The food at the hotel was delicious, and dining with a view of the lake was truly memorable. Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate the opportunity to spot animals in such a picturesque setting.nnHowever, I deducted one star because some rooms lack air conditioning. While the provided fans and open windows help, it can be a little warm in the summer. Nonetheless, if you're visiting Jasper, whether staying at the lodge or not, this location is a must-see.
The hotel advertises itself as a luxury establishment, but this is entirely misleading. We paid over $700 per night, yet basic amenities like air conditioning were missing, and this fact is not clearly stated on their website. The rooms are outdated and in need of renovation. Exercise caution before booking and spending a significant amount.nnWe traveled from the US and drove from the Fairmont Chateau Hotel at Lake Louise, only to be utterly disappointed with the amenities, service and property. The outside temperature was 89 degrees, while the room felt like 100 degrees. The food is overpriced for the quality and service provided.nnWe had reservations for three nights but canceled the last two because the heat made it uncomfortable and unlivable. The issue is that I was misled to believe this is a luxury hotel making me pay top dollars. Having traveled across the world and stayed at various hotels, this misleading business practice makes me question which accrediting body awarded this property four stars. We will not return to this hotel or recommend it to others.
This is not our first time staying at the JPL, we absolutely love the hotel and how it is smack dab in the middle of the Jasper wilderness.nnThis trip started off a bit rough though. We arrived at 5pm check in begins at 4pm and were told our room wasn’t quite ready yet. No big deal. However, it took a full hour for our room finally became available. We were seriously unimpressed with this wait time. We did speak to the manager on staff and to make amends, they offered us a $100 credit each day of our stay. This was very much appreciated.nnOur room was great: comfy beds, clean, and a view of the lake.nThe pool and hot tub were amazing as always. The views are spectacular and we appreciate that the pool is heated. Kids and us spent hours there each day.nnAs usual, the food at the Great Hall and Fitzhugh’s were decent but definitely overpriced. We ventured into the town for most of our meals. Also make sure to get to Fitzhugh’s early as they run out of certain pastries by 9am and make reservations at the Great Hall, otherwise the wait is extremely long.nnOverall, we love the whole vibe of this hotel, had a great experience and will definitely be back next year.
