Marmot Lodge

We so appreciate that there are dog friendly rooms as we love to travel with our pups. We enjoyed our stay at the Marmot Lodge. Booking was super easy and efficient. We didn't use them, but the pool and hot tub looked really nice. The room itself was a little small and slightly dated, but we weren't expecting anything fancy. Prices are like anything you'll find in Jasper--you are paying for location. Overall, we would stay here again.

We stayed there for 3 days and the staff at the front desk were great. They were very accommodating and were really helpful in booking some of the activities and attractions in and around Jasper. They're also knowledgeable which made it easier for us to plan our trip more efficiently. The location was also convenient as it was next to Starbucks and we tend to see more wildlife around esp. Elks. As for the rooms, it contained the essentials and it was comfy esp. that we were there when the temperature was 32 - 33°C. There was a bit of dust on the curtains and some of the power outlets weren't working properly with the electric kettle and coffee maker, but nothing really major since we were mostly out and about. The place and the staff gave me a comfortable space and experience to rest and refresh before I'm off again to explore more of Jasper. I hope to visit Jasper again and stay at Marmot Lodge.

My wife and I stayed here back in May. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Kitchenette was decently stalked and everything worked as it should have. Place was quiet. Overall we enjoyed our stay, will likely come back and would recommend to others.Rooms: 5/5

The Lodge can be a bit tricky to find but the receptionist is right in front of Starbucks. It’s a nicer old building with a quality pool and hot tub. The older building does give way to hearing the others around you but quiet hrs are respected and no impact on sleep. Receptionist Corissa is amazing

My son and I come and stay at Marmot Lodge fairly regularly. We have been very happy with the rooms and comfy beds. I am making two reviews one for December and one for now January. The staff have been so excellent. There are many who I do not know the names of; however the ones that I do that have really been impressive are: Lucy the desk manager, she show's great listening skills which is an asset and she is really accountable. I have appreciated her caring attitude it has made our vacations really positive. Kenneth hope I have that right, he is so up beat with staff and people coming to stay. He really sets us up to have a good holiday and shows excellent people skills. Ignace has been so thoughtful and always says hi. He has been very gracious with his time. All the staff from cleaning to maintenance Ross are very friendly and make a difference to help you have a great vacation. Thank you.

We slept well! They have a nice pool and sauna rooms. Thank you to the sweet guy reception and to Lucy that helped us microwave our food as they don’t offer one on double room.Rooms: 4/5

A little out of the way for us, but I suppose it depends of what you want from your location! We would have liked been closer to town, but it was close to the motorway for touring. Marmot is quaint, quiet, comfortable & clean. It has motel vibes, but nicer I suspect!!Rooms: 5/5

We booked through Snowpak. We were upgraded to a deluxe room upon check in. The room is much nicer than we expected. It was very big and had a mini fridge, microwave, keurig, a big dresser/desk, 2 armchairs and a side table. Beds were very comfortable and lots of towels provided. Everything was clean and smelled nice. It was super convenient to be able to park right outside our room door so it was easy to bring our ski equipment in and out each day. There were 2 hottubs, one outside and one inside, plus a swimming pool and big sauna. Housekeeping did a great job. We were extremely satisfied.

Great staff. Cleaning of room ehh..boot footprints on bathroom floor. No bodywash in dispenser. No parking in front of our room two nights in a row. Also evil daves..only thing evil was the 18 dollar drinks...lolRooms: 3/5

A great place to stay a couple of nights when in Jasper. Not too close to downtown so there is no abundant stream of tourists near the lodge. Service is excellent, they provide you with everything you need. The parking is really good because you can park your car right in front of your room, a sort of motel idea but only more luxurious.
