Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott St. John's Newfoundland

Great hotel with friendly staff and clean/ cozy rooms. Staff were very accommodating and friendly even when I rolled in at 4am. Really big gym for people into fitness. The pool is kind of small but there is a massive water slide. Didn’t get to use either as it seemed packed with kids at all hours. Great family hotel. Hot breakfast every morning includes hashbrowns, eggs, and sausages, along with your regular toasts, juices, yogurt, and fruits. One downfall to this hotel I found extremely annoying is you have to use your room key to access the elevator. Lots of amenities near by for eating, drinking, and shopping.

Absolutely awful stay. Hotel was overrun with kids who weren't being supervised. Parents too busy drinking in the lobby. Couldn't use the lobby or the pool because it was just packed and very unsafe in my opinion. No consideration to any other guests, no one telling them to keep the noise down or be respectful. Staff just turned a blind eye. Front desk not empathetic. Cancelled my other reservation. Absolute waste of money. Will not be back.

Spacious and clean rooms. The service was great. Unfortunately we were assigned to a room too close to the elevator and ice machine, it was a little noisy. The breakfast could have more choices.
