Excellent service, super helpful and informative sales people. Great sales and lots of choice. Easy to get to, fairly central/south. I go there regularly and always get what I need and then some!

I needed to replace a button and needed help so I went to fabricland. Their staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. There is also lots of different type of fabric and material to make drapes, clothes and a whole bunch more. I returned because I wanted to make a Halloween costume and again staff were very informative as to what fabric I needed, how to make it from start to finish and I was able to do a good job too.nnIf you like my reviews, videos or photos why not sew up the hem and give them a thumbs up.

OVERPRICED. I went for a curved ruler for drafting. I found the Dritz 12” curved ruler for $46 at this store. You can buy the exact same one on Amazon for $14! It is ridiculous. I don’t often get angry, but this is shameful.

This store has lots of varieties. I was looking to buy Sultana burlap fabrics. Found it on few online stores but when tried to buy it, it was out of stock. I was feeling lucky that I found it right here and not only that they were having a sale on it. How cool is that. Besides, the staffs were friendly, enthusiastic and pro active. It took few seconds for me to find this fabrics with the help of those nice and lovely staffs which are the key to success for any store front business.

When I came and settled in Ottawa in 1993, this FabricLand at Walkley Rd. can be called an institution at this location bec. it has been serving this community and others for more than several years. The other stores in the strip mall where FabricLand is at have come and gone, but the store still stands. The building is not modern, but the store is very clean and the merchadise is kept properly organized. Even the washroom is super clean. 2 of the store staff helped me find what I was looking for. So I thank Krystina and Jean for being patient with me. The store is also wheelchair accesible as well and manageable to get around.
