Canadian Tire

They have a wide assortment of things, so I generally know they'll have what I'm looking for. Found some good Christmas decorations on a great discount. Dayna was incredibly friendly and helpful! If you're not sure if they carry something, check it out online before visiting.

Smaller than other Canadian tire stores, and it looks like it could use some renos. The sales are usually pretty good and they offer a great warranty on their products. It's a bit difficult to find staff when you're looking for help. Most of them are close to the cash registers, or customer service counter. There's a gas station at this location which makes it convenient. Only other issue is getting in/out of the parking lot because it's on a busy intersection.

Worst auto service experience yet. I rarely bring my car here as I find CT in general has gone downhill - but this experience has been ridiculous! After an hour and a half waiting in the waiting room I asked for an update. I needed a new tire (there was a nail in mine). My car was left for an hour and a half because no one took the time to talk to me about a new tire! Thanks for wasting my afternoon! Would give no stars or negative stars I’m so irritated w the lack of service!

This place is going down with a bullet. By far THE worse Canadian tire in Ottawa. The place isn't organized and the staff, oh don't even get me started on the staff. They are so mean and cruel and at times it feels like they gang up on you. Manager James is a complete tool and not understanding at all. Their policies are always sketchy and it's discretionary rather than policy which means if you get a person who's having a bad day working at customer service desk, you can bet you're not going to be happy with the results of the request for return or exchange. Try to avoid if possible and go to the one on Coventry or Blair. N Good luck everyone.

I've always been of the understanding that if you treat people with respect, they will respect you back. Understandably, more patience must be exercised when considering the onslaught of people all wanting snow tires at the same time! I started my search for snow tires two weeks ago. I phoned Canadian Tire Orleans for size availability and was put on hold a few times. Each time, my call was disconnected due to waiting beyond "their" allotted time. So I went into the Orleans Store only to have to give all sorts of personal information to even get my tires availability !?!?!? I didn't appreciate their "tude" and so I decided to take my business elsewhere. My mechanic recommended Canadian Tire BANK and HERON. I phoned them (thanks to Ray and Alex), was put on hold, but never for long, and never disconnected! They returned to inform me that the last set was available. I immediately ordered/paid for them online....explaining I'd be in the next morning for installation. Next morning, poor Rick was all alone, trying to put a dent in the line forming. He took the time to tell us all that others would be arriving soon and that he appreciated our patience. Natalie was needed to help me, due to my "online purchase" and a couple of minutes later, I took my turn in the line for installations. I was advised when my tires would be ready and sure enough....they were right on time! I CAN see why my mechanic recommended them. I will certainly pass on the Orleans Store....and drive the extra distance for BANK and HERON. I found EVERYONE incredibly personable, professional and worth the extra drive. TRUE customer service, through the trials and tribulations of very harried times. My purchase/installation couldn't have been more pleasurable. Perhaps if some people were more understanding and patient...realizing that the staff ARE there to help (and not to be the brunt of intolerant people) we could all bring out the best in each other. Just sayin...... Kudos Bill....your staff did you proud !
