Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Ideally rental car companies would put winter tires on their cars in Canada as standard policy. Ideally they would only offer vehicles that were suited to the climate. Ideally they would tell you that a combination of bad tires and poor drivability would render their product potentially dangerous. I write this review not to criticize this location specially (as they seemed friendly) but rather to encourage Enterprise to strategically reassess the viability of a product they allow for rent for Canadian weather. It’s ultimately the responsibility of a business to offer a tested product that will confidently meet the needs of the customer and they deserve a poor review if the product did not meet these needs. If a Chevy Sonic cannot perform, it should not be offered for rent. This is truly a matter of public safety rather than a matter of fickle consumerism. In driving this car for a day I had many near misses, as the failure of this car to handle simple manoeuvres such as turning corners, stopping and driving through 2-3” drifts nearly caused accidents. Mandatory winter tire legislation is a much needed improvement to a rental industry that has not proactively implement this as policy.

Needed a car for an Insurance claim, they were close to my house and the service was excellent. VERY friendly and helpful, wouldn't hesitate recommending this location to friends or using them again.

I chose this location because it had the best deal at the time. I rented a chevy cruise for 1 week and added on the sirus radio option. Unfortunately there were issues with sirus not connecting right away. After a couple of phone calls back and forth with the branch manager James, he got the issues resolved. He was so helpful and comped the price of the add on feature. Thank you so much to this branch for being so friendly and helpful. Reason for the lose of 1 🌟 - the issue with sirus And - the fact that enterprise as a company does not put on winter tires. Was sliding all over the roads after the snow fell.

My past experiences with Enterprise or any car rental offices for that matter haven't always been great, However at this location I was treated exceptionally well, they accommodated my needs and were very welcoming when I arrived, never have I experienced such great customer service from a car rental business. The Assistant manager and her team were friendly and great to work with, I will continue to come to this location and will recommend any one else to this office.
