Enterprise Rent-A-Car

Excellent service. However $12 fee per day for winter tires in st. Johns newfoundland is kind of insane I think. And on very few vehicles also only caravans and a few cars. No Suvs or pick ups which is what I originally was looking for. Summer wiper blades kept freezing up. But again excellent service and employees. Also.... for $12 per day for tires, a good name brand and not a Chinese knock off brand would appreciated.

Apparently thier driver goes home 5 when most people get off work and are delivering thier vehicles.

We rented a 7 seater Dodge caravan from Enterprise for a week. The vehicle was new and very economical. The staff are exceptionally friendly and efficient, Their complimentary transfer service to and from hotel to pick up / drop off was much appreciated. We would have no hesitation in recommending Enterprise car rentals in St John's. Regards Dennis White, New Zealand

Reserved a grand Cherokee or similar vehicle 3 weeks in advance only to show up and they do not have the vehicle. They were offering me a Dodge Journey and telling me it's "similar". They ended up finding me a grand Cherokee from somewhere else. A reservation is a reservation. Please honour it. *edit* The Cherokee I got had creaking noise coming from the front wheel when I picked it up. I was happy that the "found" one and wanted to be on my way, so I didn't bother to fuss about it. We were deep in Gros Morne park when the damn wheel started to clank. Clank. Clank. We were very concerned, there are no mechanic​ shops around and a tow truck can take hours on a good day. We called and they told us to get to Deer Lake for a switch out. We manage to get there with this clanking, whew! They switched out the car without any hassles. This experience was both good and bad. Good that they switched out the car, bad that they gave me a car that had mechanical issues and was a catastrophe waiting to happen And not holding my reservation. One star for giving me that vehicle and three stars for getting me a new one right away.
