Since its foundation in 2007, Emergent Vision Technologies Inc. paves the way to new imaging innovations with cameras of high resolution, high speed, ease of integration and cost-effectiveness. Bringing together over 40 years of engineering experience, we were the first provider of cameras based on Global Shutter CMOS sensors and the high speed interface 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10 GigE).
10 GigE exceeds the bandwidth of even the advanced interfaces USB 3.0, CoaXPress and CameraLink. At the same time the costs are low and the technology is fully developed since any modern IT network utilizes the 10 GigE standard for broad band data transmission. The GenCam® and GigEVision® standards make the integration with all major software libraries as easy as can be.


Applications and Solutions

Our current camera range of 2 to 20 megapixels and 338 to 32 frames per second (fps) at full resolution (over 1000 fps at lower resolutions) are the best-in-class and versatile solution for a large variety of applications from display or solar panel inspection over pick-and-place machines, vision guided robots and railway inspection to highway monitoring, sport stadium surveillance and golf swing analysis.
