ECA is my favorite home away from home!  I’ve been working out there for 2 years and I have nothing but good things to say about the staff, the trainers and the facility.   Everyone there is always friendly and willing to help, yet no one annoys you.  Another thing I really appreciate is that there are all different age ranges, abilities and body types of members who workout at this gym.  No one feels that they don’t belong here - everyone is welcome!!  In addition, they always offer new incentives, programs and fun contests and classes. Come and join in for the fitness and the fun!!

ECA has been my home away from home on and off for over 5 years. The atmosphere is "real" and so are the people. Anyone at any fitness level can come into this gym and feel comfortable and confident in improving their health. Special shout out to Austin and Brandon! You both make this gym a better place! Thank you!

Pros: Variety of equipment and classes. Zumba class in particular was rowdy and inclusive. Lots of fun. I started to see results pretty quickly. Training sessions are a nice perk, in theory. Some of the staff are friendly. The place feels relatively open and airy compared to some gyms I have been to that feel somewhat cramped. 

Cons: 
During the initial tour the staff were nice, until I said I had to think about it because, of course, you don't really just pay $19 and start. Lots of fees, upgrades, etc. Once I said I wasn't sure, staff was rude, dismissive, and condescending. Telling me that my health must not be very important to me and pretty much I should leave. I guess the manipulation/shaming worked because I signed up. 
The initial training session was horrible. I'm not a fitness expert, so I trusted the trainer who told me to keep going even after I said I was in significant pain. Ended up practically bed ridden for a week. And in pain for 3. 
Sanitation is not a priority. I appreciate gyms where the clients and staff spray/wipe down equipment between uses. No one does this here. Be prepared to wipe down the equipment yourself before use. 
I finally cancelled membership after staff took late fees out of my account despite having my card on file. They said that they had to manually charge the card and they didn't do it in time so I had to pay for it. Said they don't like to use cards and would stop erratically taking money from my account if I gave them a voided check. Not a huge request, just kind of obnoxious and considering I haven't used that gym in months and was paying them just for fun, figured it's time to go.

ECA is one of the best gyms I have been a member of! From day one you have every opportunity and tool to be successful in your fitness journey. I have personally gained a life style from joining this gym and have brought along 5 of my friends as well that are meeting their fitness goals. Sure, you can nit-pick everywhere you go, but at the end of the day this place can change your life. You just have to make the choice to empower yourself to do it OR pick out all the things they do wrong and don't meet your goals. Simple as that. Thank you to the ECA staff for being the best team of supporters and trainers out there!

My trainer, Brandon, has pushed me further than I thought I could go strength and endurance wise! All of the staff is amazing an always welcoming! Love the fact I won 2 tickets to Las Vegas! Chris, another trainer, also constantly pushes me when Brandon isn’t looking!
