Elliott Bay Public House & Brewery
"About as far north as you can go and still be in Seattle proper, Lake City is a bustling and diverse neighborhood. With easy transit connections and close distance to the “U” and Lake Washington. Elliott Bay Public House is located in the heart of this area on old State Route 522 or Lake City Way LCW!. Enter through the back via our parking lot or the Lake City Way Avenue side. Offering three great options to gather for all event types. If you come before we open, do yourself a favor and get a coffee and cinnamon roll from our friends at KaffeeKlatsch, two doors to the south of us. Prost!"

Popped by for a late lunch and we were very, very satisfied with our choices : The fish and chips 3 pieces was delicious, with huge chunks of fish with a thin uber crispy battering, lots of chunky tartar, and fat fries. The tofu sandwich was super delicious - the tofu was seasoned and very hearty/meaty, the avocado and fresh veggies were refreshing, the dipping sauce was super delicious, the sourdough bread was great, and the side of daily soup Spicy tomato basil for 3 bucks was perfect for dipping the crust in. Service was very friendly and quick : definitely would return!
This place is nice, they have a great beer menu, the service is good and the food was great. The fact that it's based around family makes this place a must-go to place. The place has good parking and was very reasonably priced. If you haven't been it's worth the drive give it a try you won't be sorry.
There's no correct answer except for the Philly Cheese steak sandwich That's probably not true, other things are probably also great, but I can't imagine anything topping that.
First time at the brewery and I live in the neighborhood. Ordered a beer flight and a cider. Cider was warm and I asked for a cold glass. Instead I was brought a glass of ice. Seriously….. Ordered food to go and it came out “dine in”. Ok, well they packed it up and we got home. I had half a bun for a burger, one chicken finger, yes only one…. There were several other dinners so let’s just leave it at that. This was a S&@$ show at best and I was really disappointed. My family was visiting from FL and thought we should visit a local visit for a brewery experience. This obviously was not the right one, nor do they really care about the quality.
Popped in for happy hour and got some nachos with fish and chips! Always friendly service, in a comfortable space, with the tastiest of pub food and brews. They have a nice little outdoor seating area now too, so definitely going to be taking advantage of it with these sunny Seattle days :
Food used it be great, I've been coming here for years, twice in the last week!! Last night!! The food was inedible, we ordered chicken wings for appetizers they were cold on inside and looked undercooked. Tuna tacos!! 2 8in cold tortillas wrapped in a cigar shape!! Inside cold slaw and 1oz fridge cold slice of tuna also cold, all served with lukewarm potatoes fries. The Philly cheese sandwich, cold gummy bun with maybe 3 oz of meat, same story with the potatoes fries. Left the si called tacos entirely in the plate, there was barely any awareness from staff. $61 later + tips!! Gone home and cooked dinner. Sadly.
Best Shepherd's Pie I've ever had in my life!! My wife and I love this spot. Great drinks and amazing food at reasonable prices. Thank you all for your amazing restaurant! Please keep the Shepherd's Pie on your regular menu, at least during the cold months!
I came here with my wife, and her mother. The menu is huge and the beer selection impressive. They have both booths and tables, and were busy when we came on a weekday night. I tried the philly cheese steak which was delicious, almost too large! I asked for veggies instead of fries and they brought me some tasty beans which I appreciated. My wife had the Reuben and fries and she said it was good, although it was not stacked as high as I normally see at other places. My mother in law had the taco salad which looked delicious and was massive you could split this one. To be honest the beer is a big pedestrian, hence my score, and I don’t think they are competitive with other high end local craft brewers. Having said that the beer was okay and I would come back given the high quality of the food and the open atmosphere. Also, the parking in back is nice and the service was very good.
Heard the Reubens were good. They weren't. They were dry and flavorless. I dislike ordering via a QR Code, and they still expect %18 tip minimum. The server that refilled the waters was attentive, and they were the best part about the food or service.
The buffalo chicken salad has always been my favorite thing here. After a rough day I decided to order it. It's been a while since I've gotten it and as expected the price had risen $3... fine I get it inflation. What I wasn't prepared for, was the portion size of the chicken being cut in half - if not more - from what it used to be. For now $19, I was expecting more than 4 small strips of chicken. If this has become the new standard protein size then it certainly isn't worth $19. You get basically the same amount of meat as a McChicken patty for nine times the price.
