Made it to El Frijoles for the first time this week.  What a great place--outstanding food and excellent service with very nice atmosphere and owners. Definitely worth the trip from Bangor !

This place is as a real treat to have in downeast Maine. Best Mexican around by far. Great use of local ingredients, amazing specials and very reasonable prices. Outdoor seating and play area for kids too.

I literally order the special here every single time I come and I have never been disappointed. Take a risk! It's worth it! 

When I visited last weekend I ordered 12 burritos to go. Frozen! Packed them in our RV and we are currently enjoying them at the beach in North Carolina. El el frijoles is the best! ❤️❤️❤️

Outstanding service-unbelievably friendly, great outdoor atmosphere, the food was fresh, I had the special the accompanying salad was crisp & fresh! Go out on a limb and try it!
