Bar Harbor Lobster Company

My husband and I stopped here on a whim after visiting Acadia National Park. Not only are the prices reasonable (especially for Bar Harbor), but everything that we ordered was delicious. I had the lobster bisque and crab cake sandwich and he had the lobster bisque and shanty burger (cream cheese and sautéed onions). We liked each other’s meals so much that we swapped a half of our sandwiches. Even the fries are above average - they had a great seasoning on them. I would definitely recommend this place!

We wanted an affordable seafood dinner, under an umbrella with some blueberry beer. This place didn't disappoint. I had Fish and Chips, my wife had the Lobster Tacos. She hasn't shut up about the salsa or the mexi-corn so it must have been good. We came down here because it was a more relaxed atmosphere and we had been hiking all day. We fit right in. We'll go to a fancier place tomorrow.

If you're looking for creamy clam chowder or chunky lobster bisque, this is not your place. $31 for a to-go order of calamari app and two bowls of soup ... the clam chowder and whole belly clams the next day at a biker bar down the coast were head and shoulders above Lobster Co. Lobster Co's to-go bowl leaks. Their clam chowder is thin and salty enough to cause an aneurysm. Their lobster bisque is a drinkable puree, shorthand for sans-lobster. Their spicy calamari is good, but nothing special. And when you call to complain after getting back from vacation, you're stuck eating the $16 for the soup that got dumped out. Not a good way to fill up before a night island camping. The upshot is that it isn't in the crowded part of town, and Bar Harbor isn't really known for its food, anyway. The bartender was nice, but perhaps taken off-guard by me: a typically manic new yorker on a mission to find seafood to-go in an overcrowded resort town.

This place is awesome!! Laid back rum bar with lots of local beers on tap and in cans. Food is dynamic, scratch made food truck style sandwiches and sides and if your looking for the best lobster roll in town look no further it's loaded with knuckle,claw and tail meat with the right amount of mayo on a grilled brioche split top roll 🍸

More than just Lobster here folks! Great beer selection. Had my fave Maine beer on tap @dirigobrewingcompany lager and the fish tacos. OMG! Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly and funny servers.
