Drinks were delicious. Pastrami sandwich was great as well - crunchy chewy bread, good flavour. Croissants were tasty but mostly chewy only, lacks flakiness.nnVery comfortable interior with ample space between each table. Clean and aesthetic decor, perfect for studying or working. They have a section for folks with laptops and other tables with no laptop designated for eating.nnStaff was very friendly as well. Note: Alternative milk is more pricey here than other places - additional charge was $1.25 for lactose free milk.
Thrilled to discover this cute new cafe in Scarborough. The place is huge with high ceilings, big windows, and lots of open space. There's a meeting room at the back and very nice washrooms. Aesthetically pleasing and clean decor throughout. The food is overpriced for what you get $11 for a pastrami sandwich, $7 for grilled cheese, $3 for regular drip coffee. The food is halal and coffee was great. What didn't make sense is they only have one set of menus in the front consisting of 4-5 laminated pages - one said lunch, one said brunch, one said breakfast but I believe they serve all these throughout the day no timings listed and one menu for espresso based drinks, and one for non espresso vased. Nothing mentioned regular but they do serve drop coffee. Just found that very bizarre. A large menu on the front or side wall is definitely needed. One that lists all food items and all drink offerings. Service was normal nothing special. Other than that the place is lovely.
A nice place to stop for coffee. The space is bright, airy, and spacious. The tables are nicely spaced out and not too close together, which was nice. There was a mix of people hanging out and chatting and those using their laptops.nnThey had a good variety of drinks including some dessert-like specialty lattes, as well as a small selection of baked goods. We had an iced coffee, latte, and lemonade, as well as a cookie croissant, and all were yummy.nnParking in the actual lot the cafe is located in behind the cafe is limited when it's busy, but there's plenty of parking in the next plaza, and the walk from both spots is essentially the same.
Came here with a friend for the first time. The interior was very nice, super open and clean space, with modern features. I ordered the tres leches iced coffee, which I would recommend was better than my friend's biscoff iced coffee imo, perfect amount of sweetness for myself. Big plus for having real plastic straws, and super clean bathrooms. Would definitely visit again if I'm in the area!
This spot has become such a gem in Scarborough. This is my first time visiting since the renovations and expansions and so much has changed. There’s so much natural light for studying/catching up with friends. I think their coffee has improved as well; the last couple times It’s always tasted like nothing to me and I mostly just tasted milk. But this time was great and the barista was really understanding of my requests. The only downside to coming here is that they segregate half the tables as “no laptop zones” which makes it difficult to find a spot to sit. There seems to be a lot more demand for laptop tables so I think they should allocate more tables instead of the current 50/50 split.
