Eatery101 at St. Clair College

Great place to eat. Their special events are always a worthwhile treat. The only reason it’s 4 and not 5 stars is for anyone reading this to understand that this place is for education of the culinary arts. There will be some inexperienced servers and chefs in training, so five stars wouldn’t be a true review, but for what this place offers and provides to the patrons and endeavouring artists, it’s 5+ stars.

We've eaten there three times and each time was great. Great service, very tasty food, beautiful presentation and a fair price. I highly recommend this restaurant. We dined for $50 and that included two appetizers, a soup or salad, main meal and dessert for two. Came home with leftovers. That was their Valentine's day dinner. Only negative is that you have to park so far and pay for parking. However it is still well worth it.

Such an amazing idea for teaching hospitality and culinary programs. I’ve been here on a variety of occasions and the food and service have always been top notch.

They make mistakes but considering that they are students, it's amazing food and atmosphere edit: ordered takeout and was met with awful service from an instructor not a student. I called in at 1130 and my gf went to go pick up. She asked if she could pick up the order when it was ready and a student called over the instructor who proceeded to misunderstand and thought she was trying to get her food ahead of others. This instructor argued that she didn't misunderstand and that my gf was just "trying to go back on her words". She intentionally served other people first who ordered later and tried to charge for the meal a second time. Also initially gave the wrong order.

Excellent! It definitely is 5 star dining. And I love the idea that this is a culinary school so students get to experience the "real" feel of fine dining. And prices are very competitive.

I recommend that everyone go eat here. Because it is fun by the culinary and hospitality students, the attention to detail for your service and quality of food is top notch. They are open to feedback and ask for you to rate your experience afterwards.

A bit of an unknown treasure, Eatery 101 is a delicious place to have lunch or dinner during the week while college classes are in session. The food is always seasonal, well presented and gourmet in a classy but modern setting.
