Been having their for 7 years and I can truly say their taste and quality of food hasn't changed. It tastes really great and the quantity is more than enough. Definitely worth trying if you're around this area.
Loved the food. Quantity was so generous Owner is such a humble n sweet person Wish I had tried it before Must eat if you're in Windsor Their stew is the best
I tried the 2 piece chicken with rice. The quantity was enough for two people & it was the juiciest chicken I've ever had. Quick service & flavour profile has.depth & spice to it. It's a must for meat lovers.Food: 5/5
The chicken platter is fabulous, and the serving size is more than enough: friendly service and affordable price. Kudos to the team
Really good food, even better prices. Huge quantities and really delicious food. The place has a lot of males so if you are a group of girls it's not the best place to dine in as it can be awkward; although the staff are very friendly and make you feel super comfortable. Highly recommend the food.Food: 5/5
Great food for a great price! You can fill up for like 8 bucks. I don't know of anywhere else that offers something like this. I will keep going back again and again. The owner is very friendly and will remember your face. I love going there when I want to fill up but not spend too much. 5 stars every time I go. Please go here and support this great local business.
A place you must visit. I went there with my wife. The price of the food was OK but the amount of the food was great and It was very delicious as well. If you eat there, there will be a free mango juice for you as well. I think I will have food there regularly in the future due to its short distance from the university. Do not judge this place by its old architecture, I strongly recommend it.
Wow, first off. Let me just give a special thanks to the cook & my server. I'm confident anyone not custom to Somalian cuisine will regret not trying this place. The food didn't arrive fast as I'd have liked, just finished a pre roll from a dispensary. However, let me tell you. Was I ever blown away by the quality, quantity, presentation, flavor profile and the overall enjoyment I had devouring the Chicken Steak. Purchased a platter which I anticipated on having a bit of everything and taking most home. Couldn't even do that, one bite of the chicken steak and I was stuffing my face more ignorant of table manners than I've ever known. Even the staff thought the spice from their incredible hot sauce was a bit much for me. Nope, their hot sauce overtook Sriracha as my number one favorite. Mostly custom to Indian cuisine myself I'm no stranger to spice. I was literally stuffing my face to the point I was choking. This meal was so good. Potentially, it could be deadly, eat with extreme caution. I was so stuffed I couldn't even finish a meal that could compete with Michelin Star restaurants I've been. I'm sure fancy titles, expensive decor and strict protocols won't be a thought in mind after one bite. I felt on my way home I wouldn't be able to eat the food I packed up until the following day. On route back to London my stomach settled. My father greeted me and tried a 4 person platter that would feed 6 easily and I ended up eating two additional containers the same day. I know this review is pretty extensive and that's just how I needed to illustrate this cuisine. Mind blown. Somalian food has put the country on my bucket list of places to see. Have an open mind, enjoy Also, Canadians with an appetite for spice will love the heat and flavor profile of their in house made hot sauce. I literally tried to buy the sauce on the table. I was absolutely floored and honored, so thankful I was mistaken by the title associating to Juba, South Sudan and desiring to try that food as I've been honored to meet many wonderful Dinka people of Sudan. I found a needle in a haystack & I hope this food will be shared and enjoyed by many. Canada, multiculturally proud to celebrate and enjoy our differences.
The owner was so nice and gave me extra!! The portions are so huge I'd need 2-3 sittings to finish lolRecommended dishesChicken Rice
Amazing Somali restaurant, the staff are great and friendly, they sell by far the best rice and chicken, don’t take my word for it go in and just spend $12-$15 I promise you, you won’t regret it.
