We liked all the grass and trees. We prefer the look of natural surroundings and not the kind of Rv parks that are just big parking lots. This park was just right for us as far as Rv parks go. There is a play ground for the kids, bathroom/shower house, and that's it for amenities. It is right across the street from the Hallie Ball Fields and on weekends the Rv park will get busy from the ball players and their families.

Nice and quiet campgrounds. No pool, dump station or goodie shop. A little different than we are used to. Good for a cheap place to park your camper and have a firepit.

This was a nice and quiet place to camp with family! We would go back and stay again. The only reason I gave a 4 was because we made a reservation for a pull through site and when we arrived the only pull through site available was a very unlevel site. The camp host was great and helped us find a spot we would fit into so all was ok! There was some confusion on how many days I paid for and when we were checking out which they should have had records of and didn't! We ended up leaving 3 days early to meet some family in Colorado and I was not able to get my three days back!

This campground is in serious need of NEW MANAGEMENT!!!!!! Stayed here long term during the 2014-15 seasons and all was good! Stopped in to see about coming in for a month or two this year and the manager, Lynn, who greeted us like old friends and complained about how tired she was from all the work at the camp, said we were banned. When asked why, she did not know but said Don the previous manager said so. I talked with him and he essentially blamed us for befriending a woman who complained about the terrible condition of the bathrooms and said we were complaining too. He said Lynn was one of the people who told him which makes Lynn a liar, she said she didn't know why! By his own admission, he was very rarely at the park last year and did not have time to stop and talk to us about it. He then said he was no longer in charge and he has nothing against us and Lynn is the current manager and can do as she wants but wouldn't say that to her and make it right, he just said he's no longer managing it and stormed away! By the way, the new manager, Lynn, is the one who acted as manager last year in Dons absence. Every time we visited with her last year, which was often, she complained about Don being gone so much and how he wasn't taking care of the bathrooms and not leaving cleaning supplies for her. She was very angry that they had to be there doing so much work all the time but couldn't get refunded for the months before they started helping. Last year, we weren't the ones complaining but since we've been blamed everyone may as well know the truth. The bathrooms last year were terrible with mold growing and cobwebs, it was gross! This is probably the reason you see on the website that they remodeled them. All this is really a shame because the owners of this place could probably be making a lot more money if they would just get good managers and Boot out the old! If your going to stay here, be careful what you say and to whom, but even more importantly, be careful of the friends you make!!!

Very clean restrooms and camping area. Camp manager was very friendly and accommodating. We had a full hookup site with the woods behind us. When we arrived we knew they had lost there power due to lightening. It caused major damage to their electrical system. They were in the process of hooking up huge portable and very quiet generators. They hard wired them directly into the camp electrical system. With in an hour of arrival we had power same as if nothing happened. My had is off to the campground for successfully making this happen. We were there to watch our grandson play in a baseball tourney. Excellent place to camp for this purpose for its walking distance to the ball fields.
