Starbucks

One of my favorite Starbucks. Extra fun because you can play Pokemon go there. They have outlets everywhere so you can plug in your laptop or phone or whatever and the people have ALWAYS been extremely friendly.

This is my go to spot for meeting up with people when we need WiFi and my apartment is too dirty, for when I have a project do and want to get out of the house and need WiFi, and for when I have work to do and need the fastest WiFi to get the job done plus the best coffee to keep me on my game and keep me going! This is just my spot basically. I work from home as a freelance graphic and web designer and it can get very lonely very quickly working from home, so when I want to have a reason to get out of the house, this is where I go to make myself feel like I’m actually “going to work” and to help separate my “work life” from my “home life” because the two so easily get blended and I end up feeling like I’m always on-call and always on the clock, which is not a fun feeling. The atmosphere here is super chill, everyone else seems to be hard at work here too, it’s usually pretty quiet, but if you come during rush hour forget about finding a chair. The best times to come are earlier like around 12noon or 1pm or later say like 6pm, but it also depends on the day it can vary greatly. This spot always has bananas too, which are one of my favorite fruits so can’t go wrong there. It’s a smaller Starbucks than some other locations but I’ve never seen a huge line or huge rush here so I always get my beverages really quickly compared to the bigger Starbucks, which is yet another perk of this location. Now you guys know about my secret spot. Oops...

Always busy, but staff keeps up nicely. No drive through, but there is a free lot right next door. Have never had an issue getting a spot. If you need to exit and head North on Hennepin, be warned you'll have trouble. Better to exit out the back and hit up Hennepin where there is a stop light.

There service is slow and mobile orders are obviously funky because i has to wait 20 minutes for a unwarmed scone. putting a scone in a bag should not be that difficult
