It's a nice little store with a very friendly staff. They have a surprising selection of fishes - as much as a big box store in a quarter of the space. Obviously they can't compete with the corporate giants on prices and sales, but as a small, local business they are worth visiting. I don't know why Google doesn't recommend them in search results more.

I love to stop into Duncan's for a nice change of pace. I always try to buy from smaller local business for a reason. Normally better service and follow up. Duncan's has been a fixture in North Idaho for many years and have lasted through big conglomerate stores.

Have shopped here sometimes for pet products over the years, good selection and no issues. We got a lovebird from here several months ago, and he has worked out wonderfully for us. Once he got comfortable with us he has become so friendly and easygoing. He was raised well.

Friendly service they would get 4 stars from me BUT the recommend starting a new tank with goldfish which any fish-keeper knows is unfair to the goldfish being that they cannot be kept in the same tank after it is cycled if you are doing a tropical tank.
