I'm going to say, friendly staff, fresh take, knowledgeable, live feeders properly treated and readily available. The store is under construction and it's going to look smashing, be patient, for all good things take time. Our lizard family is now eating quality super worms and various stage of growth crickets, also rodent feeders. Thanks OodyOos,
Excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Rebranded and under new ownership. Oodyoos is a term of endearment used by the owners within their family. The store is currently being revamped with a new aquarium wall which should be complete by November. The family has plans to kick off a one-year birthday celebration in early March 2023. They have plenty of animals and supplies onsite. Open daily.
Fired the most knowledgeable employee there for pointing people in the direction of things you couldn’t buy at that pet store. Apparently going to buy something a store doesn’t even sell elsewhere is terrible and sending away business…how does that make sense when you don’t even sell said product I’m after? Bought crickets several times since the ownership change and they keep dying for no reason. No changes on our end. They have cricket food and water and all the same things but they die within a few days. It’s not the heat as we have AC. Very disappointing.
Super helpful staff and lots of options for food, treats and anything else you might need. We will definitely be lifelong customers and are happy to support this local small business! The new owners have also done an excellent job revitalizing the building and store
Friendliest pet supplies store I have ever been in. Had an albino pleco that was not the right fit for my community tank. The welcomed her in, so she could have a new forever home.
Great team that really care about all critters big and small. They carry an amazing selection of exotic items which tend to be hard to come by on the Island.
Great prices on fish & tank supplies! My go to spot for fish in Duncan.
Came in for some goodies for my kitties on the way home to Nanaimo. Charlene I hope i spelled it right was an absolute joy. Very personable and knowledgeable with the product in store. Will definitely stop by any time we are nearby. 10 stars for amazing staff, clean store and cute birdies!
