This place is fine. Decent night life, old school dive bar but not too divey. Good place to grab a beer. Do not go here for anything else, food nope, cocktails, nope, shots, nope, local price nope. One of the few places that has liquor pours in thimbles. Decoration is cool, they got an old skool phone.
Feels a bit strange going to an Irish bar in Greektown to drink a German beer, and even weirder that I was hearing pro-America country music inside it, but it was a positive multi-cultural experience overall. Free popcorn, pretty reasonable drink prices, beer pong, darts, and a cool atmosphere. Would recommend!
Great bar nice drinks and Richie was great. Don't get into a convo with this bartender on anything controversial she is hard core, new and over the top!
Stopped here for drinks while waiting for our reservation. Has a great Irish dive bar kind of feel for being right between the loop & west loop. I can imagine it can get busy for happy hour drinks, I was there when it was slow, but maybe more ideal for more intimate groups vs group functions since it has limited space & limited seating for big groups. It’s mostly bar seating or smaller tables. The popcorn machine is working!! Which is less common since covid so that was oddly exciting.
Fun, everyone-welcome, Irish bar in Greek town. Dog friendly inside Hank the Tank is a regular — look out for him! Great beer selection, light on the spirits. Jukebox, darts and pool table for those not hanging around the bar.
Low key Irish pub - good place to grab a drink. Everything is moderately prices especially for the neighborhood. No food, but I'd recommend it as a decent place to stop to grab a drink to start or end the night. Low-lit "divey" vibes but in an upscale way...if that makes sense.
Nice Irish bar. Dog friendly. Great neighborhood bar. They also have a big room in the back if you need to have an event like a birthday party with friends
Nice local bar I always try to visit if I'm visiting and staying nearby. Decent selection of drinks and laid back chill atmosphere. I also love that they have free popcorn!
Disappointed... Not a true Irish pub. Just a facade. No chilled mugs, Beer was warm which was the worst part but Bartender didn't even know if they had any local beers when you could clearly see some different looking taps. Then they locked the door, and dimmed the lights before closing time. A customer was locked out when he was just out having a smoke.
Great dive bar with great service. Popcorn is free and you can order a pizza from Topper's and eat there. Very relaxed easy going staff.
