I had my car towed by Drake during the snow storm that hit right before Christmas. John was beyond helpful with getting me a tow as soon as he could and keeping me updated. It was the first time I had experienced my battery dying in the middle of the street and with the snow and cold weather I was stressed to say the least. Everyone at Drake made the experience a lot better and I was so grateful to hear my car arrived safetly at the end of the night. The guys that towed my car were super nice and helpful and overall just such a great experience I would highly recommend this company ! Thanks again !Service:&nbsp;Special vehicle towing

This place is a joke. My husband called for a tow and was told that they could not send out a tow truck to pick up his car that was broken down at Cambie and Marine Drive. He needed to have it towed to Open Road Honda in Burnaby and was told by their dispatch / customer service that they could not send a tow truck out because it was too far to go and it would take about 2 hours. For reference, this is on a Sunday evening at 9pm so there would be no traffic and it clearly would not be that long. And even if it was, so what, send a tow truck and have us pay for it. What a joke of a company and totally terrible customer service. Don't put up signs around the area if you are going to refuse to service people. Businesses should not partner with Drake to do towing on their properties because they are a pathetic company with a bunch of lazy workers.Service:&nbsp;Car towing

I like Drake for towing promptl, and have used your service many times with great tow drivers, but today August 1st , around 10.15 pm, drake was securing a tow at Eldorado Mews, in the back alley with enough room for 2 way traffic. We came out of our resident parking only to see the tow truck took most of road up. Asked politely if he could move the truck a bit so that senior driver in our car could get through. He was rude and hardley moved the truck. So asked politely again how long he would be. He said 5mins and went on taking his sweet time talking away with towing car owner's. I understand Towing trucks take space but the tow truck driver was busy talking rather than continuing on. We were patient and also in an emergency to get through, but he was only interested purposefully taking longer to make us unnecessarily wait. I hope I do not get this driver for my next tow as I would not use Drake.

Completely false advertising.  Called for a battery jump after coming back from vacation and parking in a Diamond parking lot. Their posted sign clearly states 30 minute response for jumpstarts and the like. Waited over two and a half hours for them. Kept telling me it will be within the hour the first time, and again when I called over an hour  later. Diamond parking foisted responsibility to Drake, and Drake said they weren’t aware of the 30 minute promise. They sound perfect for each other.Service:&nbsp;Battery service

Alex was an absolute legend. I honestly didn't think any towing company would tow my car out from where it was in a tiny underground parking garage. Very low clearance and very tight corners.  Alex came and got the job done in no time at all. He is an absolute a master of his craft! I'll always call Drake towing in the future... thank you!!

Phoned and explained my problem and was given a time that was almost right but acceptable. Diver 530 came - I forget his name but #630.Professional and fast. Solved the problem. Thanks  truck 21! Price was very reasonable.Services:&nbsp;Battery service

My car broke down Thursday afternoon and called drakes towing driver arrived in 30 minutes which is pretty fast for towing..truck #17 did an amazing job he show full of compassion and didn't give up trying to bcuz very difficult to scoop it due to lower control arm broken, I just wanna say thank you so much for helping meevery towing needs a worker  like you who show respect and compassion once again thank you so much sirService:&nbsp;Car towing

The tow truck driver was friendly, however, being friendly ended up costing me double on my bill.  $159 per hour for flat deck towing. The driver shows up at 8:47 pm, we get the car loaded quickly, then he starts asking me a bunch of questions about the vehicle it's not a car you see every day. I spend 8 or 9 minutes answering his questions about my car, and hearing about his history around Italian cars as a child, etc. No problem, very friendly guy, I trust he took good care of my car while it was with him.  First, he pulls into the wrong complex, no problem, finds his way to the correct shop and they open the door. He sees another nice and rare car in their shop and a conversation ensues. After that,  My car is unloaded into the shop at 9:56 pm. Exactly 1 hour and 9 minutes.  My bill was $333.90 Cents for 1 hour and 9 minutes. I got charged double because the driver was chatty.

Bittersweet experience. The customer service over the phone was nice and polite while scheduling the towing pickup and providing estimate $160. But when driver showed up, he was grumpy and unfriendly. No hello, no small talk, nothing. Picked my car up, no problem. Started towing with me on the passenger seat and writing me an invoice while driving !. Handed me a paper with $200 total. I said I'm not paying that as it wasn't what I was quoted. He started showing some attitude "I need payment!". I called customer service, they called him back and he ended up correcting the total cost to $168, which I paid. No word upon unloading the car, no goodbye, nothing. I guess I shouldn't have expected much from the tow truck driver anyways, but overall experience turned out to be so-so.Service:&nbsp;Car towing
