Wildly incorrect km distance on invoice. Do the towers think we don't read what they write? The address of tow and and the impound address were both correct and the distance between the two is 1.1km according to Google but the km distance on the ticket says 56 km, an outrageous discrepancy. Had the distance been accurately recorded my base fee would have been around $78 small car, under 6km towing distance but instead it was $102.46 and I can only assume it also inflated the fuel surcharge. I thought the price was too high based on the fee breakdown on the website for my situation but what could I do besides pay it? I guess I can count myself lucky they didn't cause body damage or randomly deflate my tires like some have reported but the mistake is so glaring someone needs to be reprimanded for this. Photo description: Green Busters towing invoice showing towing details from: 1900 Manitoba St to: 425 Industrial Ave. Km: 56. Amount: $102.46. Storage $23.28. Fuel Surcharge $26.64. GST $7.62. Total $160.00 Personal info covered but Invoice # 823273. Job #: 33?79231 second digit semi-illegible. The woman at the counter was very nice and helpful.
Customer representative couldn't explain in detail the breakdown of the charges. There's a lot of hidden fees that are not clearly stated on the website. The customer service is pretty much non-existent. All they care is getting as much money from people as possible and charge you the highest possible rate unless you question the charges. This is just pure robbery of people.
They did a great job of towing my car, I was illegally parked. Awesome staff and only 160 bucks to reclaim my car four hours later. They only damaged one mirror permanently which is better than the place in cloverdale who stole my 900 dollar sunglasses
Reviewing for my dad. He was towed in Vancouver. No signage saying that a vehicle would be towed in the place he parked. At most, he thought he would get ticketed. Such a shame. If he had known, he wouldn't have parked there. My pops didn't deserve to wait for a taxi for an hour just to get to Busters.
If I could give zero stars I would. Company truck got stuck in the snow, at the side close to the curb admittedly close to the stop sign - so not angry about being towed but they charged us for 2 tow trucks because they couldn't get it out with just one. Have called and talked to various other tow companies who indicated they would not do that. Spoke to the guy who answered at Busters. He had to go check with his boss as to why we were double charged, came back and said it's the charge for 2 tow trucks. We asked to speak to his boss, he said we couldn't because his boss had left for the day. Will definitely be making a complaint to the city as well.
What a joke company. 2.1 stars is about right. Maybe even a bit high. This is the worst service in the city. They dont even have 2022 technology like a debit machine on hand like any other business that works in the field. That's so basic. So when you make a customer wait 45 mins for a guy to pop over and charge a battery that should be the discuss upon dispatch. Lousy foresight. And WASTED time for everyone. Don't go for this company.
I've used busters before to get my Hino Jumpstarted, first two times I've had to do it, they got it right, and jump started the truck with no issues, first two times it was the same guys, he hooked up a booster pack and when it didn't work he just added another one and got it up and running but on the third time after battery's on the hino was replace the my driver had left the lights on over night so it died out, I called them to go give it a jump and they sent a new guy, who spent 45 minutes "charging" the battery's and still couldn't jump it, so he gave up and gave my driver a invoice for $225 and when I called the office the lady told me after I said I'm not paying they would call the police lol. Highly disappointed and would never call them again. And won't need too since I went to canadian tire and bought a Noco150 battery pack, and guess what hook it up along with a jumper from my car to the Truck, it fired right up. Not even 5 minutes... oh and the first two time they charged around the same 225 which I have no problem pay since they actually jumped the truck.Services: Battery service
Terrible… my friend called the front desk after she mistakenly left her purse in the bathroom after a visit, The lady on the phone was extremely rude and refused to even check if her bag was there… if you can’t do these simple tasks maybe you should consider a different job that does not involve customer service. She even threatened to call the police after we called back because she hung up on us twice and claimed we were “harassing her”. Get a grip lady and learn some basic customer service. Thx.Service: Car towing
*DELIBERATELY DEFLATED MY TIRES* just so they could pinch out another $120 from me to fill up my tires. Upon paying my ticket at the tow yard, I walked towards my car, started up my car and my TP light turns on. Turns out my two rear tires were completely flat. Completely confused, I thought my tires got slashed by someone. I asked one of the tow truck employees to explain the situation to me. He read the report and stated to me the worker that towed my car DID NOT MARK any damage on the report to my tires prior to towing it to the yard. He also said my rear wheels where lifted on a car tow dolly. Meaning my rear wheels NEVER EVENTOUCHED THE GROUND on the trip to their tow yard. Luckily, I found another person that had his own portable air compressor and he filled up my tires. and to my surprise, my tire pressure was stable. Shady practices and unethical business trying to pinch every dollar out of people.
We had our car towed because of an accident. They towed it to their yard near Terminal. This tow yard was very full and although small a bit difficult to find the car. Once we found it, accessing it was easy. We visited the bc at twice. Staff were nice and let us do so without charging us we were not aware and ICBC never told us apparently you get one free visit and afterwards, you’ll need to pay. Anyway. We had no issues. Staff were relatively nice but all business. For a 22 day storage and tow it costs around $765
