Dragon Light Restaurant

We walked in a group of 12 today they had no problem of seating us in a room. The food was good DEFINITELY get enough QUANTITY of food to share one plate of food with another person. The service was GREAT even though we were there at 12PM on a Holiday Sunday.

Nice atmosphere, waiter was very nice and funny. The food was good, with big portions for sharing.

Fantastic old-skool Chinese cuisine. This is not to say it's greasy or loaded with MSG, but I'm talking QUALITY!! White meat chicken in the chicken entrees. Top notch egg drop soup and eggrolls. Large shrimp in the shrimp dishes and even in the mixed-meat specialty dishes. This place has been in business 36 years as of the date of this review and you can TASTE why!

Food was acceptable, service was quick enough, but the waiter was rude. Not sure if this is just part of the planned atmosphere or he's a crank. Lots of flies! Really voracious and annoying. I know flies get in, but if nothing is done about it, they take over. Was here a few years ago and that experience was much better. Probably won't be back. Too many other Chinese restaurants to accept a bad experience and go back. Not bad, just not too good.

Decor is a little dated. Same waiters since first visit 17 years ago. Menu updated along with prices, still a good value overall. They need to infuse a little enthusiasm in the crew, feels like a funeral luncheon at times.
