Refused my 5 year old daughter due to our vaccination status on our third appointment. However saw us two times before that when covid was high. Very unprofessional and discriminating due to our vaccine status.
Not at all impressed with the staff, had my sons appointment who was being accompanied by my wife. They were commuting by TTC and were late due to some Subway issue at the TTC, I called and the receptionist said just so that they are running late she has to reschedule. When my wife came out of the Davisville Subway Station I told her to come back and we will book another appointment over phone as she was late and there was no point to go to doctors clinic anyways, I tried calling doctors office 5 times and each time it went to a lengthy voicemail before even somebody can answer. My wife then gets a call while on subway back to home from the doctors office and was being told we did no call/no show and will be charged fees of $62. I called back and tried to explain our situation to the receptionist but she said she cannot do anything and gave me reason they didn’t answered the phone because they were busy. This is completely unacceptable and I’m not at all impressed. Will look for some other doctor for my kid.
He, and his lovely office administrator, make the visits to the office, memorable, hilarious and frankly a great time. My sons and I enjoy the quick, efficient visits and the office is always immaculate. Also, his great and caring heart can he heard in the updated voice mail that promotes both covid-related safety protocol for the office with and community-mindedness. A true front-liner helping others stay safe. Thank you Dr. Wagman and team!
Dr. Wagman is always professional and his sense of humour helps to ease the visit. Our son has mild autism and he is great with him. We have to travel to get to him, but well worth it. I thank him for all he has done for us, & for guidance and patience with our son. Dr. Wagman is the best!
When people are telling you this is a bad place, hear them out, they are not wrong. In my first visit I arrived on time and they made me wait an hour to see the douche bag doctor. No apologies from him or his staff. Second time around they called me to confirm appointment couple of days prior to the date & confirmed time. Granted I was 10 minutes late when I arrived called them from the lobby they simply said you are over 20 minutes late and the doctor won't see you because there are other patients waiting, I went upstairs to tell them that I am only 10 minutes late and they should still see me: and guess what there were ZERO patients waiting and the douche bag doctor was walking around like a loser that he is. And despite being free he said you'll have to rebook "that's my rule" .. dear doctor you can shove that rule up your "where the sun doesn't shine". You should be ashamed for lying on two accounts, that's unprofessional. And if you really want to be by the minute then maybe don't make patients wait when they are indeed on time.
Sept 12th 2019 Had a GREAT visit at his office this morning . He was totally professional and gave some added humor to put me at ease . I would recommend him highly . Receptionist Rosalie was polite & professional . R. Anderson .
Fortunately he was not as bad as he is described here and actually he was good. I didn't find any issues with him and he seemed to be very professional. The receptionist was also friendly and respectful. I had a good experience.
One of the best and funniest ophthalmologists I have had and i have had a LOT!!!!! Even though I have a very rare eye disease and many other eye conditions along with it, he knows a lot about it, when I have had doctos who have no idea till my parents and I tell them what the disease is.
My son was given a referral to see this doctor. Unfortunately he refused due to vaccination status.
Dr wagman is an excellent opthamologist, good with kids and has a great sense of humour
