Welcome to Dr. Sunny Tatra. Located at 905 Gordon Street, just 1.5 blocks from his old clinic, Dr. Tatra will be able to better serve his clients in a brand new latex-free facility with the most modern digital imaging technology and equipment. Maintaining his client-centered approach to dental care, Dr. Tatra has designed the bright and spacious new clinic to give you access to state of the art dental service and technology, including the latest in diagnostic and sterilization technologies, massaging chairs, and faster access to care in case of dental emergencies.

Dr. Tatra is pleased to have his team moving to the new location with him. You will still be seeing Aileen at reception, Rachelle for your hygiene and Stacie as your Certified Dental Assistant.

We welcome the addition of Heather Ovenden to our hygiene team, who has 10 years experience as a Certified Dental Assistant, followed by 9 years experience as a Dental Hygienist after completing a BSc in Dental Hygiene at UBC.

We are grateful for your support in making us what we are today and we have taken this rather significant step with the desire to create an even happier and healthier environment to serve you better. We look forward to seeing you at our new location!

Very happy with Dr Tatra and his staff. I have found him to be very upfront and honest with my treatments and expectations. In addition, I am nervous with needles and injections but he is exceptional at freezing and I have never had any pain or issues with this (this has been an issue with other dentist in my past).

Sunny was fantastic! He and the Staff have gone above and beyond for my 2 year old son. They were patient and very conscious about creating a positive experience for him investing time and patients. He made a balloon man for him and he went to pick out toys from the "treasure chest" after each visit. In addition, they have TV's on the ceilings for distraction and entertainment. I could go on... Highly recommended and trusted.

I am very pleased with my experiences with Dr. Tatra, as well as his staff. The office is flawlessly clean, welcoming and high tech. I came to Dr. Tatra for a second opinion and was treated with utmost respect and professionalism. He was able to address my concern, without delay, and explained exactly what the problem was, and how he was going to fix it. He is very careful, and makes sure that you're comfortable during the procedure. Best of all, if something is going hurt, even slightly, he is completely transparent about it, and will let you know. The receptionist, Aileen, took the time to explain my insurance coverage, and helped me make the most out of the benefits I receive through my employer. It makes me very happy to have finally found a dentist that doesn't give me an anxiety attack to visit. Straight up.

Dr. Tatra and the staff redefine professionalism and thoroughness. You feel very cared for, and everyone knows your specific situation as soon as you walk in. The technology used in the office means that you can see exactly what your teeth look like, and the comparison images allow you to see how things have changed from visit to visit. Dr. Tatra is excellent at explaining everything about a procedure and uses evidence from the images to justify his work. It's also impressive the amount of professional development that the staff participate in - you'll hear of regular courses they take, and they obviously are up to date on the latest dental technologies and procedures. I'd recommend Dr. Tatra and the staff to anyone who's looking for a dentist.

Dr. Tatra and his staff are the most professional and sincere people. My hygienist, Heather, always makes me feel like I am among family and friends while I am there. Dr. Tatra is a great dentist, I have no fear or suspicion when he works on my teeth that I am getting any less than the best. The office is very clean, beautiful and comfortable :) I found Dr. Tatra as a second opinion after having a poorly done root canal at Hillside Dental Care and have never looked back. His concern for my previous treatment and his honesty about how to move forward with the damage done has more than proven to me that he values his patients. It took me years to find him BUT If your dentist shopping, this is the one!
