Dr.Grant Woo has 20 years of experience and I have been pleased to have the benefit of that. This year I have had an extraction, an implant and a partial denture anchored by the implant. Another dentist was completely at a loss to deal with the situation but Dr Woo said, no, we can do this. His services were kind, meticulous, skillful and competent. I was very doubtful about trying a new dentist and at times it showed but he was always professional and patient and firm. I have a comfortable, functional and attractive addition to my smile. The team at Carnegie Dental are welcoming and informative. The person who did my cleaning was great. I am pleased to make this recommendation.

Dr. Woo is the best dentist you could ever hope for, and I should know, as I have had experience with inferior dentists before. I had a dentist in James bay that completely botched some simple procedures and caused a lot of damage. Dr. Woo was able to fix their mistakes/incompetence. Not only is he very knowledgeable but he is also very kind and thoughtful and does the best to make sure you are comfortable. He also is very methodical and doesn't take shortcuts, which is important when talking about the health of your mouth. Even the hygienists at the clinic are top notch. They found things that the other clinic missed completely. Chrissy is so gentle you could fall asleep in the chair. The front desk reception is always friendly and quick to help you with appointment dates and payments etc... This is a place that, as corny as it sounds, treats you like family. You will be taken care of here. My wife also has had work done here, and she was very happy. She was scared after my bad experience in James bay, but Carnegie dental has proven themselves trustworthy and competent. My wife and I have had 3 or 4 procedures that were more difficult than the work done at James bay dental, but they never messed anything up like James bay did. This is the place you want to go.

Have been going there for years. Have always been treated with the best of care for whatever procedure I had done. The staff have always been caring and knowledgeable. They have always been able to make my appointments according to my schedule. Patients young and old would have the best experience by going to Carnegie Dental.

The absolute best dental experience I've had! Very careful and attentive staff Alia & Steph have been my hygenists and the dentist Dr. G Woo was very careful and accommodating! I have a great deal of dental anxiety who doesn't?! But they have helped put me at ease each time I've visited! And thoroughly explained the work to be done, why it's recommended, and given me the option of proceeding or not! I've always felt in control, and that those working on my gnashers are very skilled and capable! So thank you very much, Carnegie. I wish I could say I look forward to the next visit, but let's leave it at "I'm not not-looking forward to it" ;

Phobia kept me out of the dentist’s chair for many, many years — until a crisis meant I had no choice. The team at Carnegie Dental has been absolutely fantastic, helping me overcome my fear and getting my teeth back in great shape. Drs. McBee and Woo are gentle, nonjudgmental and positive, and give you all the time you need. Hygienist Stephanie was cheerful and patient, and gave me back my smile. And the receptionists are super!

As a student from UVic, I can assure you that going to Carnegie Dental can make you want to go to the dentist. The customer service was excellent, the employees were nice and really helped me get through my procedures! Plus, after everything, I got a small gift an electric toothbrush, 3 different types of toothpaste, small bottle of mouth wash, and a ton of floss! Can’t wait for my next visit!

I had a great experience with Dr. Woo. I have been receiving laser treatment for my snoring. He has the most up-to-date equipment and knows how to use it well and safely. He is very knowledgeable, skilled and very accommodating. I definitely recommend him! I have definitely seen an improvement with my snoring!

One of the only places I called that actually truly cared to help me with my severe tooth pain. All of the staff was caring and knowledgeable. Dr Woo was amazing with calmly explaining the procedures and creating a treatment strategy for me. Thank you for your professionalism and kindness.

Really good dentist, I feel taken care of here. The people also seem very trust worthy and open. They are also very advanced with their technology and appointment setting; I get an email reminder a week in advance of all my appointments and have to confirm appointments. They also mail important information to the patients. I'm glad I've found this place. It's gotten a lot of high reviews on other sites. It initially took 2 months to get my first appointment

A fantastic dental office where everyone seems to care about the patients from the receptionists, to the hygienists, to the dentists. They put you at ease during what is not always a pleasant experience through no fault of their own. If you need to go to the dentist, this is a great one.
