Food was decent. The girl forgot the ice water we ordered. We asked for it at the window, and we were informed it would be $ .75 for a glass of ice water... even though we just ordered 2 meals for over 28 bucks. Won't be back.

Nothing wrong with this place. Drive thru it go on and sit down at one of many booths or tables. They offer a veteran discount with proper ID. Can't beat it in the Detroit Lakes fast food arena.

We stopped here for a quick lunch- and thought it was a fairly safe bet since Dairy Queen is everywhere. However, I was served raw chicken. After bringing it to the attention to the manager, he tried explaining to my husband that because the chicken strips come in frozen and thick, they can stick together and this sometimes happens.nnThis is ridiculous- that’s why you don’t overflow the fryer, shake the basket, and leave the basket down for a specific time.nnThe manager seemed very lost to the fact that raw chicken is very dangerous and seemed shocked when we wanted a refund on the order. No sincere apologies or concern.nn***Edit*** I did follow the little link that was suggested. Received an automated type of response. Still zero follow up.

The lady on the drive through was rude and the ice cream was melted and proportioned incorrectly. It's very sad that some owner invest their money into a business and employees like her try to ruin it for them. Time to go through your staff and make sure you have a team of friendly, customer oriented people. Dairy queen sets high standards and at least s I me of your staff are missing it.

I ordered a birthday cake, and they did an amazing job with the decoration. It really helped make my finance’s 30th birthday special!
