Don Mills

Don Mills station is the terminal station for Line 4 Sheppard purple line. It is not directly connected to Fairview Mall but it's right next to it. After going down one level, there is the bus loop. Going down two more levels, there are subway trains that depart every 5-6 minutes. There is a small donut shop, and there is also a washroom inside the paid area.

I think the connectivity of the station has really helped. As a frequent user, I find myself transferring from bus to bus and from bus to subway. The access to Fairview Mall also draws in people who have jobs around the area to encourage to take public transit. One tiny problem is the frequency. Trains are every 5 to 6 minutes. The lower frequency definitely pushes people away from this stop as it's located right next to the junction of the 401 and 404.

Don Mills Station is a major transit hub serving as the terminal for Line 4 Purple Line, conveniently located right next to Fairview Mall. The infrastructure is generally impressive; after descending a few levels, you find a spacious bus loop serving both TTC and YRT, while the subway trains run frequently every 5-6 minutes two levels further down. It’s well-equipped with elevators, washrooms in the paid area, and even a small donut shop.n​However, despite the great connections to places like the Zoo, my recent experience was very disappointing due to the bus schedule. I waited over an hour for the 90 Leslie bus and couldn't even find it. The surface transit creates a bottleneck here. If you want people to rely on public transportation, the bus timings need to be seriously rescheduled to match the efficiency of the subway.

I recently had a chance to visit Don Mills Station and these are my thoughts. It is located in a very convenient location Don Mills/Sheppard. The bus platform is very spacious and has connections to both TTC & YRT bus routes. The station is the terminal of the Line 4 Sheppard Subway. There is also a very convenient connection to Fairview Mall from the station. The station has washrooms on the concourse level & elevators. Bus routes from this station connect to places like the Zoo so therefore this station is located in a great place with amazing connections.

Good trains usually on time. This is probably the best line due to the fact that they only need to operate 5 stations which means no delays and etc. The line 1 and 2 on the other hand.
