Domino's Pizza

Domino's pizza is well known so I feel a review is necessary, I will say I like their toppings. The crust/dough used is not the best I've had it is greasier than I like. That being said Domino's was my go to pizza place before I started going to Toppers which has a higher quality dough/crust (light and fluffy and almost no greasiness) Domino's is definitely better than pizza pizza or pizza nova. I would say it's on par with pizza hut. Kate, who is an employee at this Domino's is fantastic and provides excellent customer service.

I am not one to write negative reviews, however my experience tonight is completely unacceptable. I order from here quite regularly with no issue, but tonight I was extremely unhappy with the service I received (or did not receive). I ordered online as usual and watched the tracker in anticipation- after awhile it showed that "Christy" had left the store with my order at 6:04pm. Excellent, I figured within 15-20 minutes my order would arrive. (I live 8 minutes from the store, however as I'm sure they are busy with it being a Saturday I assumed it would take a little bit). It finally hit 7:00pm (56 minutes from when my order left the store), and I still had not received a call nor had my order arrived. I proceeded to call the store and the young lady that answered my call and heard my complaint said that my order had been "bad ordered " and asked if I wanted her to send it out again (of course I did.. why would you even ask that?). I was then passed to her "manager" (who was actually the assistant manager of the location), and explained my situation and asked how the issue was going to be rectified and what kind of compensation I would receive. The ignorant young man stated that the delivery driver had tried to call multiple times as well as buzz in to my apartment, with no response. I stated that she must have hit the wrong number and dialed wrong, as I have had my phone beside me the entire time waiting for a buzz in, or a call (my buzzer is my phone). The young assistant manager had a snotty attitude with me, and essentially told me that that cannot be the case as he tried to call multiple times as well. I again told him that he must have dialed the number wrong (human error does occur..), and he proceeded to say that he can have the order sent out again but that he cannot do anything to compensate me for my inconvenience and I would have to pay in full. (I didn't want a free pizza or anything, just perhaps a minor discount or offer of coupons out of goodwill as should be the case). I was flabbergasted by his response, and said I would be contacting head office and asked for his name. He refused to give me his name with the same unprofessional attitude, and I requested again stating that as he is a manager on duty he should really provide that and that he is providing poor customer service. He again said he did not "feel comfortable" providing his name. I expressed my discontent with his dealing of the situation again, and stated I would contact head office and hung up. As a customer service representative myself, and working in the service/sales and customer service industry for over 15 years, I was extremely displeased with how unprofessional this "manager" was. You do not argue with a customer and tell them they were wrong - you apologize and ask how the situation can be made right. Especially being an assistant manager of a major chain. I am absolutely appalled with how I was treated as a customer, and found it extremely disrespectful and innapropriate. All this "manager" had to do was apologize for the inconvenience (who knows what happened? - it is very possible my number was dialed incorrectly or relayed to the delivery driver incorrectly) and simply offer some sort of goodwill gesture. Shame on you Oshawa Dominoes, for allowing such a "manager" to take care of your location and watch over the store. This is not the kind of manager you want representing your brand and policies.

I have had an absolutely terrible experience with this location and the TERRIBLE customer service experience I received. I placed an order last night and called to confirm the delivery location and the expected time of delivery with the MANAGER of this location. I was told that the driver had left, would be arriving in 2 minutes, 10 minutes later, still waiting for my pizza. We called back, no one picked up...long story short I was really sad to have not received my order after having confirmed the delivery instructions. So, I call the same location today and speak to the same manager who is very well aware of situation. He told me the driver should have contacted us which he NEVER did. I conveyed my dissatisfaction with poor customer service experience to only be told THERE WAS NOTHING THEY COULD DO FOR ME. All I wanted was for my order to be honoured but this terrible manager who clearly does not care for the customer service experience couldn't have been bothered. I have made multiple orders from this location and will NEVER be doing so again. There was no ownership for their mistake and they made me feel incredibly undervalued as a customer.

I have ordered from here multiple times over the last couple of months, and the pizza's quality here has been so-so. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's way overcooked, and sometimes it just tastes weird. In other words, it's very inconsistent. I don't mind it every once in a while, but I generally order from other places that I know will actually product good pizza every time, and not randomly.

Frequently behind with orders that seem rushed without care, and you're always waiting for 15-20 minutes after the expected time even for in store pick up. Deliveries take over an hour every time. Also, How to you run out of chicken toppings? Its 8pm on a friday night haha, what a joke. Poorly managed location. I guess you can't expect much from Dominos.
