Topper's Pizza Oshawa

Great pizza, service isn't as bad some people state. Sure, maybe English may not be native language for some of the employees here...but not like they're jerks or anything. After having lived in Scarborough my life, I'd still say the level of service is still above-average relative to other places I'm accustomed to have visited in my lifetime. Most importantly, their pizza is consistently good, they're generous with their toppings and cheese and will continue to order from here.

We have tried the food here on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, Toppers struggles to meet basic levels of quality sometimes. We have had orders that were amazing, with no competition. We have also had many of our orders arrive cold and/or undercooked. We have taken these complaints to the head office, because we love the taste that Toppers offers. We have been given countless discounts, but still the problems persist. We told them we want to spend our money here, not receive free food. I'm not sure if it's a staffing problem, and if it is, why they are having said problem. If this location could offer consistent high quality products I would easily change my review to 5 stars.

CAUTION: Food poisoning - read below. We've been ordering regularly at Toppers for a few years. Usually their pizza is quite delicious and service is good. Recently, we ordered two pizzas - one was great and the other tasted like they dumped the entire shaker of salt on it. It was inedible. So for the first time, we politely sent the pizza back and requested they remake it with less seasoning. Only my husband tried one slice of the new (remade) pizza when it arrived, just to ensure that it tasted the way it normally does. It tasted great, as usual. HOWEVER, it all went downhill starting at 2am.... I'll spare the details - but anyone who's had food poisoning knows what the next few days are like. It's absolutely awful! He ended missing 3 days of work, and then it was another few days on top of that until he was back to 100% and able to eat more than bland/simple foods. We called Toppers to inform them of what happened, and we were told that the manager would call us back. They never did. We obviously ended up throwing the entire large pizza out, as no one was brave enough to try it, lol. We haven't returned since and neither have our friends.

We have many pizza places in/around oshawa but Toppers Pizza, Oshawa has EXCELLENT food quality and quantity with efficient delivery timing especially all staff members are very polite and friendly... Thanks a lot..:-)

Love the specialty pizza, tropical heatwave is my favorite. Don't forget their house dip!
