The Lighthouse Restaurant

The last time my husband and I went to your restaurant was when we got engaged in October 2016. The dinner that night was excellent. We are here in the city to finish out our honeymoon and walked across the street to celebrate our wedding almost a week ago. We were disappointed when we found that the restaurant was closed. Your website and Facebook did not state that you were closed. Just moving forward could you mention that you are seasonal and not year round. We will be back for the excellent food in the fall.

Great food and great service. The location is perfect for the hotel we typically stay at so we always stop here. The prices are a bit high but its to be expected in a tourist town. I would stop here again.

Took 15 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us, and they were not busy. Never told about specials. Lettuce was old and wilted. Stuffed Whitefish was basically a load of crab cakes on top of the fish with a heavy sauce. Waitress was rude. As I have managed restaurants in the past I always tend to give the servers a break, but not this time. No toilet paper in the women’s bathroom and the spot where they leave their personal hygiene items was overflowing. My wife’s corn chowder was very good as was her crab cakes. For the money we spent....overall not worth it.

Staff were great. Enjoyed the bread and salad. The fish we ordered with shrimp and crab stuffing was a mushy mess served with spaghetti squash. Expected better food for the prices and better presentation. The mashed red potatoes were barely warm. Not sure if I would go again.

would like to give it 2.5 stars Ordered a shrimp appetizer, received 4 shrimp for $11, the macadamia crusted white fish was excellent, the steak was over cooked, the white fish with shrimp and crab stuffing was savory. Was very impressed with the spaghetti squash. The bread was amazing. The service was very slow, (seldom saw our server) and the wait for the food was extensive. The water was good, but very difficult to mess up water...per our 16yo daughter.
