Dino's NOFRILLS Toronto

I was there about 15 minutes before closing time. And I noticed they had the 6 pack of tissues on sell for $3.33, but there was none in the shelf. So I noticed this young girl stocking the shelf and I said excuse me, but she scurried off. As I walked towards the cashier I was abruptly approached by a older lady cashier #1. She seemed unpleasantly. I was about to ask a gentleman cashier #2 if there were any of the tissues left. Cashier #1 says he can't help you he has to stay at cash. What can help you with. I mentioned I had tried to get the younger girl attention, but she ran away. Cashier #1 says well that's my daughter. Oh, I'm sorry. She looked like she works here. After further observation she acted like she works there checking the aisles for customers and helping with the carts outside.nWhy I write this? I thought the mom could have handled it much better than she did while baby sitting her daughter.

I went to do my usual Sunday morning shop and was greeted today by both Aj and Ashley as I was leaving the store. They gave me a goodie bag and introduced themselves as the new owners.nnOver the last few months I've been noticing the store is way more stocked then before, well organized, so clean and just so nicely presented. The staff is so accommodating and friendly.nnIf this is how you guys are starting off, we are very lucky to have you in the area! Welcome and congrats!

Excellent produce for a chain store. Clean, orgnized store, well stocked. Staff used to more friendly but like everyone they seem stressed these days.

Very Convenient Avenue Road location. Lots of free parking in the parking lot, but lots of very scary signs tell you to make sure that you must finish shopping and leave within 45 minutes of parking there.nnThe store itself is not too bad as far as No Frills stores go...nnIt has a good selection of nice looking produce including some organic , organic packaged items, decent dairy section with an AMAZING price on organic milk and organic eggs, and a good selection of packaged and frozen foods.nnIn my opinion with their No Frills brand Galen Weston and his family want you to sacrifice service, cleanliness, and your time in exchange for the slightly lower prices on the same food products that you can find in their much higher priced but nicely decorated and very clean Loblaws stores...nnDino's No Store is a little more dingy than an average No Frills store, but because of its amazing location and its nice and very friendly staff it deserves a 4 out 5 star rating.nnI hope the staff at Dino's is treated well because they are really, really good !!!nnWith a few hundred extra per week spent on a major cleaning effort this store can loose some of the dingy and unclean feeling and get up to 5 star rating in my honest opinion.nnLots of handicapped parking spots near the entrance are a huge plus for handicapped customers. Great location, spacious aisles, lots of fresh produce and good selection of top quality brands Bon Maman Hazelnut spread.
