We always love coming here. We used to mostly only come for their store brand of flours, as they have great prices and some less common flours. With pregnancy and now postpartum, we started buying a lot of my produce and meats here as I've switched to mostly organic for my diet. They have great prices for organic foods, some are even similar or cheaper than none organic produce at No Frills nearby. The staff are friendly and helpful. They run great deals here, and they're great about minimizing food waste by being proactive about marking things near expiry for 25% off. We really like looking through their aisles and buying and trying the clearance things, it's a great way for us to try things we may never have bought before, and it's good for the planet to not waste. They also sometimes have companies come in and sample their products, so we've tried and bought some tasty products we might not have even looked at before. They have a great selection of products from beauty to home to groceries. It can be a one-stop shop for many.
I am deeply disappointed with the customer service I experienced. As a customer seeking assistance in finding vitamins for my mother, I was ignored and left feeling dismissed as staff walked away without offering any help. This has left a lasting negative impression, and I will not be returning in the future.
I recently discovered Ambrosia, and it’s quickly become my go-to spot for all things health and wellness! The selection of organic products is impressive, from fresh produce to vitamins and natural skincare items. The staff is knowledgeable and always ready to help, offering great suggestions based on my dietary needs. I love the atmosphere—it's bright, inviting, and feels like a community hub for health enthusiasts.
Rip-off store. I occasionally checked my receipt and found three items were charged higher prices on one receipt. Lower price labels even there's NOT price label on the shelf but charged higher prices at the cashier, the manager did nothing and said it's shopper's responsibility to verify the accuracy.
The store is still good but when shopping for vitamins it used to be great. In the past, I would find experts at a corner desk who could give me advice on the best type or brand or vitamin / supplement I was searching for. They knew all the brands and their various pros and potential cons. The last time I went there to get advice on a new brand compared to my current brand, there were no experts at the desk and no evidence of them on the floor working with other customers. I saw a man working in an aisle in a nearby section but he just said they were the same after reading just reading the name on each bottle. Well, I knew that much, what I wanted to know was if brand 2 was as effective as brand 1. “I don’t know” The message I got was, “I’m busy, leave me alone”. I walked around trying to find someone else on the floor, saw someone in a nearby aisle. She was more friendly and willing to listen. She knew a bit more and I decided to give the new brand a try … but I did not walk away convinced she was an expert whose advice was based on deep knowledge in the industry.nnToo bad, it was a satisfactory but not very inspiring visit. I will try another time as I do like the store and the parking is especially convenient. However, if I struggle again to find the experts then I may need to search out another store to get the advice I so value.
