Ding Tea

Been to this place many times, staff is always friendly. It's a nice place to go to when you need a bubble tea fix, although I'm never satisfied when coming here. The drinks are fine for what they are but sometimes I find them very watered down. The pearls aren't sweetened either and are made either really soft or super hard.

I have gone to ding tea several times in the past as it is the closest bubble tea place. Unfortunately I had a very bad experience today. When trying to put the straw through the top which I've done several times, my bubble tea cup spontaneously broke and the tea inside got all over my clothes and about half of it drained out. I knew the quality of cups ding tea uses was very poor so I assumed the employees would understand. I went right back inside and asked "Could you make me a new one please?" The employee took my bubble tea and threw it out but then asked me to pay for a new one. I asked them to give back my bubble tea that I handed over as I believe they had misunderstood. But the employee had already thrown it away!! At all other establishments where my take out has been spoiled within the vicinity of the restaurant they have made me a new drink or dish. Noodlebox and Starbucks both close by will make you a new drink/dish free of charge. For this reason I am extremely disappointed in the service at ding tea and will not be returning unless I hear the service has improved.

They told us we could not customize our drinks e.g. 50% sugar, less ice but then told another customer right after us that they could. So it seems that they discriminate between customers and/or they are just lazy. Probably worth it to go to other places downtown instead.

Great traditional Taiwanese tea and other types of drinks very good tea and amazing Bubble tea flavours and all types of boba from golden boba crystal boba and tapioca boba super tasty great place and does delivery on skip the dishes :!! Keep making great tea thank you staff !!!!!.

Love the Bubble tea here but it takes so long to order, it seems like they would benefit from having at least 3 people working at a time. I've seen people just leave the line because it's taking to long, so adding more employees would help with not losing business. My favorite flavor right now if the passion fruit honey sweet tea with mango star jellies and tapioca pearls.

They always put way too much ice in it, even if you order with less. Only good thing about this place is that it is open late. Drinks are inconsistent, prices are average to high, and their flavour selection for milk teas are pretty weak

Taro milk tea was very tasty and comforting. Will come again.

Asked for a matcha milk tea and they gave me a mocha when I asked after “are you sure this is a matcha” they said it was. Also literally paid 7$ to finish my drink in 4 sips kinda rip off

I ordered an mango smoothie through uber eats and got a mango slush delivered. When I made the order I expected a smoothie blended with milk so I called the store to ask about the situation and got an answer that mango slush and smoothie are the same thing at their location. If they are the same thing why is it called a smoothie on the app and called a mango slush on the cup? A “slush” is a drink blended with water and ice and a “smoothie” is a drink blended with milk. If anyone decides to get a smoothie from here I recommend going to a different place, big orange specifically, like the owner told me over the phone.
