Have gone here on and off for many years and never once been disappointed. Wonderful staff, great bubble tea the cups are usually warm on the bottom from the pearls and a fun atmosphere. Check out the penny dragon on the floor!
This is the best Boba I have ever had!!! I seriously couldn’t see straight in a good way after my first sip. I got the Southern belle with tapioca pearls and my mom got the the papaya dream. The ratio of boba pearls to tea was perfect. I was so delighted to find a good shop in Victoria. They were also super friendly :
I agree on some of the other reviews as the drinks are more about flavours and syrups which is the old school way of making bubble tea vs actual tea which you get from most places in Vancover. Despite this, very busy as they are in a good tourist spot so they seem to be doing well. If you want really good tea, try any of the bigger chains on the mainland. There’s a few in victoria but our favourite ones are on the mainland.
There are many options here and the menu is very expansive so you may have a hard time picking. The drink was tasty - green tea milk taro and papaya. Definitely had a strong papaya flavor. Pros: the pearls were very fresh, warm sweet and chewy. The prices are all the same from 5 to 7 dollars for a large It appeared most drinks used syrups so don't expect fresh fruit teas/slushes - although it reminds me of bubble teas in the earlier years. Line up veryyy long it's popular place but the bubbleteastas work very quickly and efficiently.
A super cool bubble tea shop in the heart of Victoria’s Chinatown. We got the Polar Bear vanilla + coconut and a matcha flavour! So many options of hot and cold drinks to try, with off menu “pop up” flavour combinations too! The staff were friendly and gave great service. I will be sure to come back next time I visit Victoria.
it was a very quite busy when I went but service was really good and the line moved pretty quick as well! I enjoyed the new and uniques flavours of drinks they had. the atmosphere was also really great, enjoyed it for my first visit there
Like another reviewer said, this bubble tea is reminiscent of early 2000s bubble tea where syrups are the primary source of flavouring - but that doesn’t mean it isn’t yummy! We got the pocky and froot loop drinks, both with dairy free milks, and thoroughly enjoyed them. The tapioca was on point and we were shocked at how much our drinks actually tasted like their names. Definitely different from the bubble tea we’re used to in Southern Ontario but it was a good treat nonetheless : I’d be down to try more flavours!
I highly recommend this place if you love bubble tea. This place has big menu for reasonable pricing. Interiors looks like old authentic Chinese Cafe. Limited street paid parking available infront of Cafe.
Cool place with lots of fascinating creations and variations of traditional bubble tea! If you’re looking for more traditional milk tea options, maybe try something else. The vibe is pretty unique though.
We threw out all 5 cups of bubble tea we ordered today. Maybe we still like real fruit drink. Everything here is artificial and not good for your health. Don’t recommend and educated kids that we are not spending money on foodshould still call it food? harmful while even a penny is too expensive.
