Great value, service was friendly, if a bit slow when they got busy. Chicken 65 was fantastic. The mutton dishes biryani and saag curry were just okay. Butter chicken was a miss with the cashew base and texture, I prefer the more traditional versions. Very good freshly toasted naan.
This place definitely has some of the spiciest dishes I’ve ever tried—though maybe I’m just off my game lately! We ordered the spicy biryani thinking we could handle it… big mistake or maybe the best kind of mistake?. The heat hit hard, but thankfully the service was exceptional. The server saved us with some big serving of yogurt raita, which was a total lifesaver. They even warned us beforehand, but of course, I didn’t listen. Lesson learned—and still worth it. Will definitely be back, but maybe with a glass of milk ready next time!
Good food.nWe ordered few different dishes.nThe taste was good but 3 out 4 biryanis were very dry we felt. Food was flavourful but biryanis could be a little better.nCleanliness-main reason for the 3 star review is cleanliness- overall cleanliness was poor including the tables and seats.
We were in Vancouver and happened to want Indian food. Just so happened it was the Baisakhi festival. Even with all the chaos of that going on. The food was fantastic, portions are shareable sized. I don't give out 5 stars easy. This was a win .
The Briyani and butter chicken were phenomenal and were infused with a lot of flavour. I really enjoyed the drum style Briyani. The butter chicken sauce was thick and creamy - just like it should be. However, their naan was mediocre at best. I’ve had way better naan. I felt like it was super thin and due to it being thin, it was hard by the time I was eating the second piece. Wish it was a bit better. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was good. A little tough getting parking on the street especially during rush hour but overall experience was good.
