DeForest Park & Ride

Its pretty relaxing park if you enjoy the quietness. There's also ducks so if you wanna feed them bread you can. The floor is uneven, great for a run

Nice place to visit some nice cool areas you can sit. Interesting to go up the stairs and see the waterway. But the marshland has a lot of trash and really should be cleaned up, that way maybe more birds and animals will come to visit there.

The nature trail was decently pretty. There was more litter in the water than there should be, but it's still a nice walk.

So sorry to see the bridge damaged by fire!

I would love to give 5 stars, however the restrooms need to be tended to more frequently.

The wetland area is dried up, and dirty. The field area was really nice l, and well kept.

I miss the trees that abounded before the remodelling of the park. The trail looks beautiful.

Rode our bikes here via the riverbed. Because of covid it was on the emptier side, so we were able to walk around and be on the bridge so we could catch sights of the turtles at our leisurely pace. Afterward, we got some treats and sat on the grass. It felt really comfy, everyone was distanced, and it was relaxing. I would've liked to have spent more time here. Definitely looking forward to going back. I didn't take a lot of pictures because seeing as how weve been cooped up, i wanted to take it all in. But while i was sitting on the ground waiting for my mango, I turned around and saw this. That alone,

Wetlands look beautiful. Can't wait til all the greenery grow in.
