They are amazing butter tarts. The crust is very pale, not crispy, but soft and flakey. The filling choices are incredible and addictive, I love the peanut butter!. The only thing I can comment on is they are more crust than filling. I think they are worth the experience but could break your bank to purchase regularly or in quantity. I think they are a bit overpriced, If they were a little bigger and had more filling they would be well worth the price.

Are the butter tarts at Dee's are worth the drive to Regional Road 97? Let's just say I make the couple of hundred kilometers round trip drive on a semi-regular basis and I'm not even a 'sweets' person. 

Though they are pricey, they are worth it.  Flaky pastry with a perfect filling- and make sure to try the one with Skor bars ground up and mixed in, they are a 10/10.
