Days Inn Kenora

Customer service was good. Room was smaller but suitable, a bit dated but that's ok, it was clean. The pool is in a completely separate building. I found it quite expensive

I was EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED with the customer service by the MANAGER at the Days Inn in Kenora. This is the first negative review I have ever written in my 33 years. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again, and to anyone else who values customer service, I would highly recommend staying at any other hotel if you can. In short, I was told by the Manager that the customer experience is not important in the summer months because the staff is so busy. I was appalled by the way she handled my polite request for a lower rate after staying in the motel building instead of the main hotel. The rates for each room are exactly the same...$159.00 a night! If you are looking for a hotel experience be sure to ask to stay in the main building when you book at this Days Inn. OR, don't book here at all.

Rooms are advertised as 2 "queen beds" I have a queen bed at home and this is certainly not a queen. My boyfriend and I didn't have much space. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Only available room was a 'smoking room'. Albeit it was 1:30 in the morning when we arrived and every hotel in town was booked. The room was filthy and due to the proximity of the outdoor lights contained thousands of mayflies swarming the lights inside. If you need a place to stay, i would recommend keeping your luggage off the floor and bring your own blankets and pillows. - Sincerely, Desperate Traveller.

Rooms don't look updated as said on site and the hotel outside with Belcony doesn't look well maintained as expected but great service
