Danbam Izakaya

I really enjoyed their food. The food is very fresh and tasty. I willing to revisit and introduce this place to other friends.

Danbam is my all-time favorite Izakaya place in GTA. I wish I discovered this place earlier in my life! Always great combination of food selection and drinks. The menu is diversified enough to cover a lot of authentic items. In terms of flavour, I’ve never had bad item at Danbam. Will definitely come back to visit! Highly recommend this place for a night out with friends, or colleagues !!!!!

The okonomiyaki was delicious! Huge portion and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Sea Breeze cocktail, however, was pretty underwhelming and I wouldn’t order it again.

Got dynamite rolls. Ingredients were loose in the roll. Some hot rice in the sushi instead of room temperature. Got kaki fry deep fried oyster. Too much batter. They gave us a big plate and fill up with bread crumb. Cheap presentation. The food was only 1/3 of the plate huge plate. I don't find them pretty or sophisticated, it's not meaningful without any details on the plate. Plus the table was not as big. I needed to squeeze to make space for the big plate. Not coming back

DANBAM is a great addition to this neighborhood. It's my favorite place to go out and always have a good time with friends here. I've brought so many of them here and they've all left with great times and memories. Most of them have returned quite regularly. All the waitresses are super sweet and friendly no matter how busy they get. The chefs are all gentlemen and always eager to put their best efforts forward. I've had the chance to speak with the owners as well and they really care about creating a good atmosphere for their clientele. I'm so glad I found this gem!

Very good food. Very good service. Things came fast even on a Saturday night. Sweet and pretty waitresses. Despite not really meant for children, we brought 2 kids and it worked out well. Have a bit of healthy options too such as that fancy eggplant dish. My fav was the eggplant dish, being a health freak. My wife's fav was the soup udon and sashimi. My kids fav were the pork belly, udon and fried eel. Kudos to the owner with the great hiring.

Giving stars just for the service. Food didn't have anything special and the food was very dry. Tteokboki tasted very plain.

This place has really good sashimi platter with decent choices of beer and soju anjus. I prefer with the sushi and sashimi platters instead of other choices, because it's not outstanding. The service is usually outstanding for other servers. However, one of them with the short blonde hair isn't attentive and always forgets our orders, and doesn't apologize. But other than that good place.

The interior has a vintage feel. The sashimi exceeded expectations. The signature menu is recommended. The other dishes were also very tasty. I recommend you go and try it yourself.
