Oh, I didn’t expect this quality of food when ordering the dishes. Just wanted to try here because they had good rates in google map. Sukiyaki - The ingredients and incredibly fresh and good. You won’t easily find this hot and good sukiyaki in Toronto. Just hope there could be less sweet choice. Chashudon - definitely go for large size!! It tasted juicy and savory. Recommend to order both don and sukiyaki if you can share! I will visit the store at least once a month.

Love the food - very tasty, lots of options, reasonable price. Staff friendly. Highly recommended. I just wish they have better seats - they’re not comfortable and since there’s no backrest, you have to hold your winter coat while eating. Five stars if they have better seats :-

AiDonO is a new concept by Aisushi which is located in the heart of North York. You won’t find the typical sushi, chirashi etc here; but a variety of classic Japanese apps, donburi Japanese rice bowls, and wraps! The wrap is by far a great and delicious idea - it’s essentially a donburi wrapped up in a easy and convenient form. We got the Gyuwrap and I was surprised how stuffed it was, plus how juicy the beef was as well If I lived closer in the area, I’d definitely grab another wrap! We also tried the Black Cod Don which is overall a great value for the size of the black cod. I’ve been to a few Japanese restaurants where the black cod was more expensive and you get a very tiny piece. Great food at a very reasonable price. One don will fill you right up. The Ox Tongue don that I had was flavourful and cooked perfectly - none of that slightly too tough stuff from most other places. Will be going back to have it again!

Discovered this place randomly on Yonge Street. Did not know the Ai brand had non-sushi restaurants. Their rice bowls are really tasty, and must try. It's a small restaurant, with small tables. I will return to try more of the menu.Food: 5/5

I tried their Karaage. It tastes good. It’s not fancy restaurant though. To order, you have to scan the QR code at the table. There’s no receptionist to seat you on a table. You have to seat anywhere you like. After scanning your order, just submit and bingo you’re done. Your order will arrive in due time.

Very clean and attentive service! Excited to try out more of their food - especially their sukiyaki and wraps. Gyudon 5/5 - Great taste and quality, even the rice was all sauced up!

Love the food here! And quite affordable for a family of four! Came here with the fam when I had to make an impromptu stop at work later one evening and not disappointed at all! A nice take on a Japanese dining experience. They have some awesome fusion wraps and simple but yet flavourful dons as well. The wraps are decently priced but if your feeling fancy, they also have a lobster wrap coming in at about $20. I had the tonkotsu ramen wrap, which I haven’t seen before, but noodles inside a wrap totally works! The don we had was black cod, which was cooked to perfection. Silky smooth and with a generous portion of rice to go alongside it. Also had a sukiyaki which had a complex set of flavours, but every spoonful was just satisfaction So excited they’re so close to my workplace and definitely going to come back for that lobster wrap! Service was awesome as we had the chance to speak with one of the employees for a couple minutes and super nice is all I can say! Great job overall! Brand new place, food looks good and quality is very nice, everything was fresh and hot, mine was a rice bowl with fried chicken. The only thing that I have to say is you guys need to add a little bit more of fresh veggies to rice bowls or give a miso or any other soup as an addition to a meal since it may be a little bit dry.

So tasty, tried edamame miso, number 302 and 402 in the menu. Both was good.
