Dalewood Inn

Stayed here back in June, this was the only pet friendly accommodations I could find. I was pleasantly surprised, the room was clean, staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone travelling with pets

The rooms were suffocatingly hot. There were a couple of fans in the hallway, and many people had their doors open to get some breeze going, so we could hear everyone's conversations, including barking dogs. Interesting but not comfortable. We did not sleep well here. The location is good, close to the harbour and restaurants.

We stayed at the Dalewood Inn on Wed 6/21 for one night; the rate was CD$145 for a single queen room. The room was clean and freshly painted. The refrigerator was huge by hotel standards. The sheets were clean and the mattress was comfortable. The young woman that checked us in was very friendly and helpful, even offering to help us with our bags. We would have appreciated a small nightstand on BOTH sides of the bed for cell phones, a bottle of water, etc.

I am giving this place 2 stars because it was very clean and the receptionist was nice. This old building was renovated. What they didn't do was sound proof the walls or the electrical outlet for the TV between the units. We clearly heard people and the TV's on both sides of us. I have never been in a place where it was this bad. Plus all night a motor below us was running. We were both exhausted in the morning. We will never stay here again.

Great service for a late check in, beds are comfortable. It’s close to the BC Ferries.
