Nice menu. Easy eats. Friendly service / family environment. I had the signature duck noodle. Flavored just right. Only part i didn’t like was the old school window curtains being too close to the chairs.
We came on a Saturday for lunch. The restaurant was empty at 12pm. We got the laksa, the beef noodle soup and the duck noodle soup The laksa was the best one out of the three. Creamy and had some seafood flavoue. The fried pork chop was not bad. The duck noodle soup was the next best one. The soup tasted somewhat mediciney so be warned if you don't like that. The meat was not tender enough The beef noodle soup was the least favorite out of the three. The beef was a bit hard to chew and the soup didn't have any beef flavour. The portions are really big. Lots of noodles. But flavour wise it wasn't to my liking. I wouldn't go back but if you are looking for a quick lunch and looking for something filling you can stop by. The tables next to us got the fried eggplant dish and that looked delicious maybe try that
Got beef brisket noodles with preserved vegetables. Broth is nice and rich, you can tell it was made from scratch and not from a powdered base. The brisket is nice and tender without falling apart and there is proper flavour through the entirety of each peace of meat. Noodles were not overcooked, but tender and chewy. Definitely try the house special garlic wings, smelled amazing, well marinated, super tasty and came out fresh and hot. Service was great, the staff were super friendly.
Friendly staffs. Great customer service. Food is tasty. Tried the house special duck noodle soup, deep fried pork chop laska. Will return to try other menu items.Food: 4/5
I had their duck rice noodle soup and it was okay. My only complaint is was there was too many bones and wished there was more meat. The beef brisket rice noodle soup with pickled vegetables was good but it was missing another flavor profile. I think chilli oil would have solved it. I would come back and try their rice dishes. Their smoked chicken wings is a must try.
My recent visit to D1 Noodle Restaurant left much to be desired. From the lackluster taste of the dishes to the subpar preparation, I found myself disappointed with the overall experience. To begin with, the tofu skin was a letdown. It had a distinct canned taste that left me longing for something more authentic. It's disheartening when a restaurant takes shortcuts with ingredients, and unfortunately, this was evident in the tofu skin dish. Next, the noodles were a letdown. They were undercooked and lacked the desired texture. It's essential for a noodle dish to be cooked perfectly, but unfortunately, D1 Noodle Restaurant fell short in this regard. The lack of attention to detail in preparing such a fundamental component of their menu was disappointing. In a typical duck noodle dish, I would have hoped to see freshly roasted duck, however, the duck was over boiled and tasted bland. I was repulsed to take another bite of the duck. Even the soup, which is often a saving grace in noodle restaurants, failed to impress. It was mediocre at best, lacking the depth of flavor and richness that one would expect. This further emphasized the overall lack of quality in the dishes served at D1 Noodle Restaurant. Overall, my experience at D1 Noodle Restaurant reminded me of fast-food-style noodle places that prioritize speed over quality. While establishments like Bubble Waffle or Dear Garden offer a superior dining experience with their noodles, D1 Noodle Restaurant failed to deliver on multiple fronts. Unfortunately, I did not have the opportunity to sample their appetizers or rice dishes, so I cannot comment on those specific items. However, based on my experience with the main dishes, I would approach those options with caution. In conclusion, if you're looking for a satisfying and flavorful noodle experience, D1 Noodle Restaurant may not be the best choice. There are other establishments in the area that provide higher quality dishes and a more enjoyable dining experience.
Good atmosphere and food is good as well! I like that the selection is small; usually means the food they serve is quality. Ordered the Laksa and Beef Brisket with preserved veggies so far, but the soup noodles are all good. Parking near this area is paid/not that great though.Food: 5/5
The rice noodle is good tasty, I ordered the spicy one, before I mixed the spicy sauce, I took some of rice noodle for my kid, she likes it! And also I ordered spaghetti with tomato meat sauce. It's my kid's best love.Food: 5/5
Best noodles in Town, friendly service and good price! Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
The food tasted decent, flavor of the borscht soup is definitely good but too salty.Food: 4/5
