Went to D’Arcy’s meats on December 04, 2025 to buy some Waygu steaks that were on sale 40% off on line. I went to the store to make the purchase of four steaks. The price I was charged was not 40% off for the steaks like they are on line. I asked three different store members about the on line pricing. None of the staff members knew about the pricing. I asked all three of them if there is different pricing in store than there is on line. No one would or could give me an answer. I read other on line reviews where the owner said that he would like the opportunity to discuss any issues before leaving a negative review. I called D’Arcy’s Meats on December 05, 2025 to discuss the pricing issue. I left a voicemail on their answering machine. Today is December 19, 2025 two weeks from leaving a voicemail and I still haven’t heard back from the owner. It’s seems like they don’t care about their customers.
What an amazing selection of meats! Everything from the regular beef, pork, chicken to alligator and kangaroo. They also carry farm fresh eggs, ostrich eggs and soup bones. The bones I get for my dogs and they will cut them to size I need. Super friendly front end staff and the butchers are very accommodating.
Very impressed with the pride that goes in to the cutting and the wrapping. Really tasty and real great service. Wonderful job on the cutting, great job in the wrapping department. No bone dust and Very tight packaging. Great job to all the staff.
Picked up a 5lb chuck roast on June 10th to make pulled beef sandwiches. It looked good and wasn’t off-colour but absolutely reeked like old cheese.nnI phoned Darcy’s to express my concern and was assured that it’s common from cryo-packed meat so I prepped it and put it on the smoker. This is 6 hours into the cook. I took it out to wrap for the stall and my whole kitchen smells like cheese.nnI’ve been smoking meat for 13 years and have never encountered beef that smells so bad, especially after sitting on smoke for 6 hours. I’ve had good experiences buying from Darcy’s in the past but this one triggers a gag reflex at the smell so I’m trusting my nose on this one and tossing it.
Our favorite butcher shop! They provide a huge variety of meat and seafood options, fresh and frozen. They also have meat boxes you can purchase at affordable pricing to stock your freezer! Their packages of shrimp are some of the best tasting shrimp around. Looking for large portions of meat? They cut to your desired size and weight. Great quality and great place.
