I saw Jeff Begg and I cannot over state what a gifted diagnostician he is! Jeff takes the time to really figure out what treatment plan an individual requires to resolve whatever issue you have. I wish I could rate him with more than 5 stars!!!
While cycling in December, I had a freak fall, breaking my ankle on both sides and dislocating my foot. Surgery and "fixation" was required with screws installed on both sides and a metal plate on one side. Not good! I started working with Hetal as soon as the cast was removed. Her attention to my situation was precise and professional. Her instructions for the various rehab exercises were always clear. She understood my objectives and the outcome I wanted which was to resume my usual activities. As things improved new exercises were added and some were removed. New ones were always supported with short demonstration videos, emailed to me following their introduction. This is an important thing to remember and was a big help any time I needed to make sure I was doing things correctly immediately following their introduction. I did my part and followed Hetal's guidance and instruction. Progress was made quickly! I'm very grateful to Hetal and feel fortunate that I selected her. Reception at the front end was always courteous and making successive appointments was straightforward. I strongly recommend CSA South Edmonton, and especially Hetal. "Thank You"
I had a full RTC Repair Sept 1.2021. My physiotherapist is was Abraham Hum at this location and he was fantastic . I’m 7 months PO and about 95% healed. Recovery is up to 18 months. The location is great, their efficient and know their stuff. Abraham is very attentive to the care you need and keeps you on path for recovery. He’s truthful and tells ya how it is. The entire staff is great and welcoming. Their hours are good and lots can also be done online for treatment.
The staff were professional and knowledgeable, and I felt that they truly cared about my progress. They customized the treatment plan according to my needs and I felt like my feedback/concerns were taken seriously. Scheduling is pretty flexible if you do need to rebook and the facility is nice and kept very clean. I would recommend this location to people I know.
Long haul Covid symptoms left me functioning like a 90+ years old person and after 1 vestibular physio therapy session with Abraham Hum the bizarre extra 40 years were lifted off and my long haul covid is gone, just like that! For the benefit of those who have not experienced lingering covid symptoms and to speak up for those who like me felt the world swaying, were unbalanced, breathless, weak, it seemed that as hard as I tried to breathe to do anything strenuous at times lifting a fork was hardly worth the huge effort, and chewing food was so difficult to do it just seemed that no strength was going to my muscles, carrying my head up straight was a consistent effort, just brutal! I had to quit my job as the symptoms were debilitating and led to extreme brain fog, then someone mentioned that the crystals in my ear may have shifted after I told them how I kept swaying on my feet as though intoxicated and how it felt like my brain would start spinning and get progressively worse unless I rested a day or two. He suggested I see a physio for vestibular treatment. I can only compare it to the movie where a bunch of geriatric people jumped in a pool and got out feeling young and vibrant and full of life. My muscle strength has completely returned, my balance is good, the breathlessness has completely gone, and my life has been given back to me, instantly, no meds, no exercises, just one vestibular treatment, instant reversal of the symptoms! Abraham was superb, explaining how and where the crystals might move in the ear, the testing was thorough and conclusive and the resulting simple treatment nothing short of a miracle. I recommend that anyone suffering from long haul covid and left in a debilitating state have this testing done if possible, how it fixed my muscles and breathing is a mystery, how it fixed my balance is physio treatment, much of covid is mysterious or unknown, but if it worked for me it might work for others and it sure beats the feeling that long term care of sorts is the only place you can see yourself in even if you're only in your 40s or 50s. I highly recommend seeing Abraham as he is dedicated to his profession and interested in the vestibular research, treatments and findings, he has such a pleasant manner, and sincerely rejoices with you when you're all fixed up.
I would highly recommend Abraham Hum at CSA physiotherapy! I suffered a broken ankle and bad sprain in the spring and was anxious to get my independence back and to start some of my favorite sports along with playing agility with my dog. He was very positive and encouraging and I really felt like I had someone who genuinely cared about my goals. He was able to tailor specific exercises for me which helped not only gaining strength, flexibility and balance, but also able to increase the power and agility so I could do all my favorite things. Thanks so much Abraham - appreciate your encouragement and positive attitude!
Threw out my lower back and could hardly get off the couch. I had Abraham Hum and he had me down to almost no noticeable pain in less than two weeks. Extremely friendly and patient service. Would very highly recommend!
If I didn't have abraham throughout pre-physio and PS physio for my ACL and meniscus tear I probably wouldn't have had the confidence that I have today. It was great having someone advocate for you and most importantly listen to what you and your body need. He never judged if you couldn't complete your weeks tasks but would always help you to strive and take care of your body. Thank abraham!
I came to CSA South after a MVA which left me with aggravated shoulder and neck pain. Abraham was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and patient while treating me for three months. He worked with my schedule in terms of how frequently I was able to do exercises at home and he brought me back to the baseline I was at before my accident. He was sociable and fun to talk to which made physio feel less like work. I have nothing but positive things to say about Abraham and the clinic. Thanks again!
