I sadly agree with the poor reviews of this facility. The floors are always dirty, the change rooms smell and are not cleaned, and the water dispenser had bacterial growth for months before anyone removed it - long after I complained about the growth. The staff are only there to sell memberships. Up to 4 people up front, but nobody knows how to use a broom? I've been going for about 4 months and I've had a cold for half that time after going years without. There is nobody cleaning the machines and the vinegar/water solution in the dollar store bottles and towels are useless. You get what you pay for, but I'd be willing to pay at least double for a clean facility. Oh, and the staff treat the facility like a nightclub with garbage techno/rap music blaring out at ridiculous volumes. The black floors/ceiling with white walls makes the gym feel like a cave and the clientele is mostly 18-35 year old insecure males. Have fun :/

Best gym I've ever been to! The equipment just got upgraded so everything feels super smooth and is in perfect shape. Also the staff that work there are so friendly and positive.

Do NOT go to this gym. You can only have a membership through 12 months contract and the gym overall is not good enough nor the monthly fee is cheap. The management(old ones and the new one) clearly doesn’t know how to run it and staffs are worse. When you have an inquiry no staff is around. Staffs also seem to have no brain or common sense. With the new management, freezing your account is not possible even when you are out of country. What’s worse? Acne started to pop up on my chest and arms since I started to going to this gym. And I don’t know who is in charge of the speakers but the music played at this gym is garbage.

This gym (when Golds was the name) went from having: An aerobic “entertainment” room (peddle to a giant screen), a “stationary” swimming pool, a sauna, a steam room, a juice bar, and a snack shop. To NONE of the above, after it became WEMfit and now Crunch Fitness. It’s not even open 24 hours anymore, as it will be closing for certain days this December and January. I’m giving it two stars because unlike Fit-4-less, it has showers and is three times the size. Once I found out they won’t be replacing the sauna or steam room after all, I immediately canceled my membership. Sorry for the bad review guys, I loved going there 😕.

Location West Edmonton Mall, Edmonton Canada. It’s called Crunch Fitness now. Used to be Golds gym before, then became WEM Fit. Iv been a member of all three gyms at the same location. Crunch fitness sort of sadly devolved in removing the TV screens from the tread mills, getting rid of end-less swimming pool, cardio centenary and sauna rooms. It’s simply an ordinary gym now so deserves ordinary ratings. Nothings terribly wrong, except that they got rid of spray bottles and towels to wipe off body sweat. So now you could be rubbing your thighs on somebody’s nut-juice or catch skin infection. 🤮 The locker rooms are not great either. On the positive side it’s a large 24x7 gym right in the mall. I suggest against buying the premium plan as most of the perks are gone.
