Cross Fit Anchored Athletics is an awesome Box to be a part of. The community is so encouraging and inspiring it's contagious. The owners are amazing and all of the coaches do a fantastic job. It is now my new addiction and I wouldn't want it anywhere else but at Anchored Athletics.

Amazing!! Coaches are professional, supportive and friendly. Their training and knowledge is incredible~ I can be sure that while each workout is challenging and fun it is also safe and closely monitored. The facility is bright, clean and welcoming. I used to think of CrossFit as intimidating, but this group has changed my view. I would recommend it to anyone!

I have finally found a Crossfit box to train in where I am able to perform without feeling like I am competing with anyone else, other than myself. The group of people who are attracted to this these Olympic weight lifting techniques, I believe, that like me, are looking for the endorphin release, which is something that I have not found anywhere else. I am also pleased to say that without this in my regular routine, I don’t know how I would make it through school. When you sign up for a WOD, you will go through an hour of warming up, weight lifting a specific movement, engage in the WOD, and cool down. Everyone shows their support of each other, and challenges their fellow members to the best of their ability. The membership is worth the investment, and the Nutrition Coaching is equally as important, that is if you want to derive the most out of the training. There are initial meetings, as well as personal training to begin with. It's all worth it. I mention this because from the other Crossfit gyms previously attended, bypassing these initial building blocks opened myself to frequent injuries. And in retrospect, once you step back into a fitness club where you can perform your own routine, which costs next to nothing, it really reveals that “you get what you pay for.” Compared to the regular gym, there is a definite comparison to the cleanliness, the assistance you get for proper technique (as there are no mirrors there), and the comradery is always present. As mentioned before, the Nutrition Coaching is equally as significant as the exercise. Based on your body composition, and fitness goals, there are specific foods to concentrate on while you are training. I have personally been on a protein enriched diet for the past three months, along with attending the gym over 100 times in the past six months. My strength and endurance have improved, so I will continue working on this. My upper body is more balance with the strength of my lower body now, and my overall mental health is resting at a comfortable, and relaxed state, with a good level of energy throughout the day. Measurements would be taken every three weeks, as well as pinching targeted zones to calculate the fat percentage that was lost. Every day was like a building block. We did not incorporate the use of a scale, as it has been irrelevant to the muscle growth and progress of this relationship between weight lifting, and protein consumption. This past year has been a motivating experience, and inevitably another great way to tightly knit a strong community of folks together. I've never seen two goal oriented individuals before, Mitch and Jesi Rae, consistently work so diligently at this business. They have my permission to coach me any day of the week! To be that energetic, and thorough with each individual member, could only mean one thing. Those wiener dogs are their source of joy. However in all seriousness, I hope they receive this year's young entrepreneurs of the area award. Congratulations in all that you contribute to our general well being, and thank you.
