Story

Angela, owner of the Cravings Fine Food Market & Catering company, grew up with Italian and Slovenian roots, which fostered her appreciation for homemade family meals. It was through her family’s love of celebrating life’s events with delicious homemade meals that inspired Angela to share her taste for the gourmet with others. Originally starting out in her own kitchen, the popularity of her amazing talent grew very quickly and allowed Angela to find a business location for Cravings.

Opening Cravings Fine Food Market & Catering in the Spring of 2006, Angela chose Barrie as her home as it lies in the heart of Simcoe County, and because she noticed a need for more natural, gourmet food options within the area.

Catering to picky eaters and experienced foodies alike, Cravings Fine Food has quickly become a landmark for creating wholesome classic meals evolved from her family’s recipes to chef-inspired avant garde dishes.

Situated near the Highway 400 corridor at 131 Commerce Park Drive in Barrie, Cravings is in the perfect location as a quick stop to pick up a hearty, healthy meal before heading home. Cravings is also easily accessible to other areas of Barrie for a filling grab-and-go lunch.
